Monday, Oct. 15, 2001; 8:52 p.m. EDT,p> Marwan Alshehhi (spelled variously also as: "al-Shehhi"), one of the principle terrorists in the first-wave of September 11, is likely "ground-zero" in the recent anthrax infections, reports Todd Brendan Fahey, who specializes in Intelligence affairs.

Confidential sources in law enforcement are stating today that Marwan Alshehhi rented a home at 1504 Delray Racquet Club, Delray Beach, Florida from Gloria Irish, the wife of Michael Irish, editor of The Sun, a tabloid owned by American Media Inc., in whose Boca Raton headquarters the first anthrax death occurred and up to seven other infections are now reported.

Currently, all infections are occurring within the major-market media community: persons at NBC, the Boston Globe and American Media (owners of The National Enquirer, The Star, and The Globe) have all fallen ill or demonstrated signs of anthrax infection. The mode of transport of the anthrax spores in question appears to be strategically-placed envelopes or envelopes sent through the U.S. Postal Service or through in-house mail routing (such as at NBC). I'm fairly sure I heard part of the cockpit with "part" of a person was found near ground zero. If it shot through that building as quickly as it appeared to, would the flames have enough time to destroy the spores?

I believe you are right. They could identify the body of a flight attendant with her hands tied behind her back with wire and another body that they thought was one of the terrorists. So they must have been thrown far enough forward to escape the full brunt of flames and heat.

You are correct that the intrusive "all" in the second half of the sentence modifies "persons", and not "infections" or the named media companies. The "all - or" construction is also terrible. The whole sentence would have Strunk turning White in his grave. Oh, and "sentence" has three "e"s and no "a" - LOL.

Then they are dust. Anthrax dies if exposed to so much as bright sunlight. The fireball from the plane impact was over 1000 degrees. The energy released in the tower collapse turned whole people into vapor, literally. There is no danger whatever of mere spores having lived through it.

This is precisely the kind of misinformation that will lead to national hysteria. Most of those tested have neither "fallen ill" nor "demonstrated signs of anthrax infection". At best, they have tested positive for exposure to antrax.

Anthrax as Disinformation (a great article) points out that "Wool sorters inhale anthrax spores in small quantities continually (150-700 per hour), and only if they get a large dose does an infection get started."

Whether this sort of disinformation is part of a deliberate propaganda campaign or is itself heyteria remains to be seen.

ok..be calm..sit down and count to ten. Maybe your point was clear to you but it must not have been to me? People sure are getting touchy. They will be declaring marshall law by Feb. People will really wack out over something even bigger. And I would lay odds we get something of some sort thats even bigger. There has been one fatality from anthrax. Are they lieing, probably, but what choice do they have if they are. Americans can't take much, even a gun scares most of them. Just looking at a gun scares most of them. Not that this really has anything to do with anything, but I do love my fellow Americans and sometimes just reading what you think and talking, even if it is a difference of opinion is a comfort. I would rather have you all yelling at me and attacking me then not have you at all. (not that you did hound but I can stir up a hornets nest at times..:)

Remember all that driving with the rental car? Could have been delivering the letters and instructions to different cells he was in contact with. My guess is that just handling the unopened envelope wouldn't NECESSARILY cause one to test positive with anthrax unless possibly the cutaneous kind.

Exactly, he simply delivered them to the person who would mail them...which explains the mail date which is after 9/11...wonder if the guys they picked to drop the envelopes even knew what they were mailing?

Not outside the realm of possibility that they are dupes. Time will tell. Whomever is doing it may turn up ill in some emergency room or local health facility.

As of now, I lean toward the theory that it is another cell who undoubtedly has their own supply in storage somewhere and is doing the targeting independently.
