Monday, Oct. 15, 2001; 8:52 p.m. EDT,p> Marwan Alshehhi (spelled variously also as: "al-Shehhi"), one of the principle terrorists in the first-wave of September 11, is likely "ground-zero" in the recent anthrax infections, reports Todd Brendan Fahey, who specializes in Intelligence affairs.
Confidential sources in law enforcement are stating today that Marwan Alshehhi rented a home at 1504 Delray Racquet Club, Delray Beach, Florida from Gloria Irish, the wife of Michael Irish, editor of The Sun, a tabloid owned by American Media Inc., in whose Boca Raton headquarters the first anthrax death occurred and up to seven other infections are now reported.
Currently, all infections are occurring within the major-market media community: persons at NBC, the Boston Globe and American Media (owners of The National Enquirer, The Star, and The Globe) have all fallen ill or demonstrated signs of anthrax infection. The mode of transport of the anthrax spores in question appears to be strategically-placed envelopes or envelopes sent through the U.S. Postal Service or through in-house mail routing (such as at NBC). The collection box wasn't missed, but since it was probably in an area that has a population not yet Americanized and used to using the mail to pay their bills, there weren't many letters in it.
The carrier put all the letters in a flat tray (a normal practice), and placed it in the back of his collection vehicle.
At the next stop, in a busier area, with a heavily American or Americanized population, the flat tray had already been placed in the collection box, so the carrier pulled it out and placed it right on top of the mail in the other flat tray.
Once the mail was swept from the "top" tray, the clerk thought she had two empty trays and simply set them aside, as normal.
It was only later on when those trays were given to a mailer for what is now the heaviest mailing season of the year that the envelopes were discovered. The mailer's people simply tossed the letters (bearing stamps) in with their own First Class corporate mail going to the Post Office.
Odds are those people were exposed to the anthrax attack. So was the carrier, and he might only now be showing any symptoms.
The conclusion is that the anthrax letters were mailed BEFORE 9/11, but they are being delivered only now because they were found in supposedly empty equipment. The USPS has a standard notice for that situation, which does happen from time to time.
And, here's another thought - the pieces were actually mailed in a different city, e.g. Springfield Virginia by local Arab terrorists known to have visited/lived there. Again, they got caught up in the empty tray business, but this time empty Northern Virginia SCF trays were sent to Trenton where they have a much heavier originating mail volume this time of year.
Other scenarios are possible.
we don't know which side of the plane he was on, do we?

I'm convinced now more than ever that we have to kill every one of these bastards.
"Sooner or later we could possibly dig them up and expose ourselves. A large number of people in a small area would be exposed rapidly."
If jet fuel burns hot enough to soften the steel supports of the WTC, it burned plenty hot enough to annihilate any odd anthrax spores (which are very susceptible to temperature and humidity).

You mean, if they left enough DNA in a Kleenex somewhere, we gotta start worrying about them again? AAARRRRRUUUGHGHGHG!!!! fsf
Hate to seem stupid but this (spelling error aside) makes no sense. What is res hands?
I think your right...FLA could be the real deal, since that strain of anthrax is harder to produce and requires a lot more equipment *IRAQ* and then you have some nutcases that decide now is a good time to get their revenge and get away with it.
That's the date that ABC news was reporting earlier this evening, too. If that date is correct, you have to admit that taking almost a month for this letter to arrive is somewhat suspicious. (Insert your own USPS joke here)

The war would be over in a weekend.
