October 5, 2001 -- AFTER seven months, Ariel Sharon finally had enough.

Since he took office, he's followed the U.S. line - talking peace with the Palestinians and agreeing to concession after concession.

In the grim days that followed the attacks on America, he even OK'd a meeting between his foreign minister, Shimon Peres, and Yasser Arafat - at the urgent request of Colin Powell.

Isaid This terrorist activity is a direct result of America in her role as the world’s policeman.

And you replied and jerks like you will continue to say that it's ok for Muslims to murder women and children because we deserve it.

I did not say its ok, I have been involved in counter terrorist activity for a long time, when you identify a terrorist group you also look at its motivation.

As I already stated and you probably did not bother to read.

Osama Bin Laden wishes to formant a revelation in Saudi Arabia and over throw the Saudi Royal family, there is a enough dissention in the Saudi Population for him to make this a reality.

The biggest obstacle in his way is America and her support both militarily and intelligence.

That is a military and Intelligence assessment, the fact that the blame America crowd is saying the same thing is nether here or there, I am interested in facts, facts help formulate a proper COIN strategy.

Proof what I said is wrong about Osama Bin Ladens strategy or Americas foreign policy as regards the Middle East.

Here is a clue how is the current campaign being run.

Now twist those words and make it sound like I am shouting support for the terrorists.

Oh yes while you are happy at home I have been called up for fresher training this weekend, back in uniform again, volunteered.

We need to invade their countries, kill their leaders, take their oil, and convert them to Christianity.

Dammit. I am sick of every other nation showing balls in this "war on terrorism" accept the U.S. If Saudi Arabia doesn't let us use their bases, we can take them by force. If the Arabs won't let us go after Saddam, we can go after the whole lot of them. We have the power. It's time to use it.

I'm not too sure that we have the power. Klintoon did a lot of harm.

I have been called an apologist for terrorist activity by some individual who calls him self hopespringseternal.

People think that recognising a terrorists war aims and what they represent or what motivates them, means apologising for them.

I have fought the IRA for a long time and I wish to see them defeated but that does not mean I do not recognise where they sprung up from. It was the same in Africa, I met some real evil characters who needed to be removed from the theatre of operations, but I understood what created them

Fighting Terrorism is not just about killing terrorists its about removing the causes if you can, if its feasible.

The IF crowd on FR could barely conceal their glee after 9-11. They took down their Israeli flags and started to fly American flags. But since Bush hasn't yet nuked all of Israel's enemies they are turning on him just like they did his dad. A couple weeks ago anyone who questioned Bush's moves was spit at and called a traitor. Now look who is criticizing my president. Hypocrites. It wasn't only scumbag 'businessmen' who hoped to profit from this disaster. So did Israel and her supporters in the US.

LOL if we can pull it off, problem is that the plan always looks good on paper but usually goes tits up at the firs sigh of trouble.

Really? Can't they compensate otherwise? I read that their arms industry is very strong, exporting to China I believe and so is their technology industry. Maybe they could expand their arms trade instead. They don't need anybody and Sharon should make it perfectly clear by refusing government aid from abroad. Period.

****We have the power. It's time to use it.****

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe we don't really have the power anymore. Perhaps the military is so emaciated it's become a hollow shell. Do you really think all those aircraft carriers are fully manned? Are there spare parts for all the tanks? The planes? How many weeks of cruise missles do we have? Maybe Powel is no chicken ... just a realist.

Obviously a terrorist attack. That plane was a weekly. Probably took the exact same route at about the same time. Stupid Russians.

You seditious provacateur quisling! Get OUT! You do not deserve America. We will NOT stay home behind a high wall and if the rest of the world recedes into the dark ages we will STILL not. If we have to fight them all ... we will. We have done NOTHING wrong but rather have been the light of the world. If they want to kill us for this then ______ em. Eat dirt and die scum.

October 2nd 2001, whooah!

Care more about a non issue about what Sharon says than a real issue against terrorism? Care more about pissing contests between Israel and the US rather than terrorism from Islam?

You know there is this issue of terrorism firsters vs. Israeli firsters. Where do you stand? Where does the US and its "coalition" (or rather a low self esteem group session of psycholigicaly retarded idiots) stand now? Hahaha!

With all due respect sir .... this is not about politics. American Jews ARE largely liberal. Not all however. My wife is to the right of me and I sneer at Strom Thurmond. If President Bush is responding to Israel in light of any consideration of American Jewish politics ... may God help him ... and us.

Their motivation will be irrelevant when they are dead.

Any concern for their motivation is gone. They attack innocent civilians, they die.

Unfortunately, the pollyannas want to "open a dialog" with suicidal mass murderers.

More blood, coming to your local news channel.

This terrorist activity is a direct result of America in her role as the worlds policeman.

Funny that in previous threads you were complaining of US isolationism and lack of liberalness. Well, do not worry anymore, the policeman has joined the mafia of Syria, Saudi Arabia et al. Now maybe the world can rest in peace.
