Here's some info about a couple of books that are "good to have standing by" in case of medical emergency:
Special Forces Medical Handbook ST-31-91B
Survivalist's Medicine Chest by Ragnar Benson, ISBN # 0-87364-256-2
Later copies of SFMH are available, and on CD- but remember a CD-ROM or computer may not work in an emergency!

I have not checked recently, be so advised.
TY for your hard work, friend. Right now, 50% of all Americans think that they are very likely to become victims of a terrorist attack. My personal opinion is that each individual stands a very low chance.... UNLESS population control fanatics are involved. [Not talking about typical pop control people, but the ultra-extreme kind that wants to herd people to conform with the UN map.] And I don't think that Bush is in with them. We might lose an entire metro area to a nuclear bomb. That would not be pop control. They would prefer some bio weapon that only kills humans, something that gets time to spread. And the ultra-fanatics could blame it all on mid east terrorists. This is very unlikely to happen, but I would blame them if it got to a 20-25% death rate for people at home, not the Islamics, who simply could not accomplish that level of destruction without numerous nuclear bombs.
BTW, this gloomy thinking is worst-case scenario. Sad-am the Shoeshine Boy Insane called for terrorist support back during Desert Storm. Guess what? We hardly suffered from anything of note at home. That is best case scenario.
One thing that gives me comfort is knowing that the day of world-wide prayer was probably record-breaking. I believe in prayer, because about 30% of the people who pray have enough faith to make a difference, and the level of faith put in that day of prayer was likely record-breaking as well. Thank God we have a Christian President who dared to call for prayer! He isn't perfect. But that one day could be the most significant thing any US president ever did.
God bless you again for your hard work. Freegards....
