The bright white spot in the upper left might not represent the sun, but the original explosion of Flight 800.

Why couldn't this be a depiction of EA990 going down?

Where do these guys get this 'hitting a building' stuff?

Looks to me like this bird is injured and about to go down ...

Has anyone paired-up the buildings shown here with what may be standing in various middle-eastern countries?

In the small version of the painting, first posted here, the center clouds look a lot like smoke, and the “smoke” seems to be coming from the general area of where the WTC buildings were. The “bright spot” in the upper left looks like the sun.

SMALL VERSION

But in the larger version, posted later, the “smoke” looks like a dark cloud, and the “sun” looks to me like an explosion in the air, with the series of white dots showing the path of the airplane, after the explosion in the air. Since the Egypt Air flight did not explode in the air or go down in flames, I’m thinking this might be a painting of flight 800, or (which is very likely) this is just an artist’s “interpretation” of the Egypt Air crash.

Note that the Statue of Liberty is out of place, so this seems to be a general “symbolic” NY skyline.
