Eliminate The Terror
By Jamie Glazov

Since September 11, there’s been a common refrain among the Kumbaya Left: "We have to try to understand what made these people so angry." Um, no, actually we don’t. continue…

Roger that. I am getting a little tired of hearing about their rage. It is about time we let these slime balls feel a little of our rage. Eliminate them is good.

Terminate their command with extreme prejudice!

They are on a 100 year plan. Their goals and sacrifices we cannot even imagine.

The are bred to fight...from birth to death...soldier of death!

We must execute a total and complete solution to this problem!

Just taking out a killer makes you as bad as them, it debases you.

ted bundy is done killing innocent women. i don’t feel debased.

The only way to eliminate them is to re-educate them, to understand and address their concerns.

nope, you cut the head from the snake, first.
who would have replaced hitler half way through WW2?

Only if they are about to commit a serious atrocity should they be taken out.

they committed a serious atrocity. they should be taken out.

"WE HAVE TO TRY to understand what made these people so angry."

How many times I have heard this stupid remark – in reference to the recent horror in New York -- I do not know.

I have also had the privilege of hearing the Left’s other favorite line: "The Americans really had this coming to them" and, of course, the all-time Leftist favorite: "But what about Oklahoma?"

Arguing with these people is like arguing with members of the flat-earth society.

"We have to understand what made these people so angry."

Really? For what particular reason? To understand how it is that these terrorists became demonically possessed? Ok, I can see that. But for the sake of minimizing their responsibility so that blame can be attributed to the United States? No, I don’t think so. But that is exactly what the professional anti-American milieu now seeks to do in its war cry for this

"understanding."

When a bunch of sociopaths hijack a plane filled with innocent people and drive it into a building populated with thousands of other innocent people, the first thing on any civilized person’s mind is not the desire to empathize with the rage of the perpetrators. It is to recognize evil, and to ascertain whether anyone that was involved in it is still at large. If any guilty parties are still at large, then a person with integrity would preoccupy himself with the hope that they are brought to justice.

Personally, my idea of justice in this case would involve a public torturing session, and then a flogging, preferably followed by a hanging – or something similar to that genre.

"We have to understand what made these people so angry."

The individuals who have shared this particular wisdom with me over the last several days have consistently expressed it with a bizarre whimpering tone. Their disposition always tends to suggest that they are among the last few sensitive people on the planet. They are, you see, feeling the pain of the terrorists, and, of course, of all the people in the world who have been oppressed by capitalism in general – and U.S. imperialism in particular. No one but them seems to have the anointed capacity to feel the pain of subjugated peoples. These anti-American pilgrims are a voice crying out in the wilderness. It’s a very tiring job.

"We have to try to understand what made these people so angry."

Um, no, actually we don’t.

My question: should we also have to try to understand what made Hitler so angry? How about what made Ted Bundy so angry? How about Pol Pot?

Of course we have to try to understand what made evil people evil. That’s because it is our human obligation to recognize evil. But my point is that if a mother and her daughter were brutally raped in their home by an intruder, our primary concern would have to be catching the perpetrator and punishing him – not reveling in what might have caused his pain.

Let’s get something straight: the psychos who just carried out their terrorist attacks in America did so not because of anything that America did, but because of what America is.

The Islamic terrorists hate America because they hate modernity. Motivated by their shame and humiliation of living in their impotent and despotic worlds, they are driven by an all-consuming rage. They cannot reconcile themselves with the fact that their world vision cannot adapt to the world that they actually happen to be occupying. So instead of changing the vision, they have to destroy the world that stands in its way.

The Islamic fanatics have the choice to turn to democracy and freedom as the answer to their problems, just as they can finally permit women to have an education and the right, among other things, to show their faces and paint their fingernails. But no, instead they rationalize that they must turn back to the model of Islam as originally introduced 14 centuries ago.

The kind of people who have absolutely no value for human life, and who believe that they are going to paradise after blowing themselves up with innocent people, are not going to be made "less angry" by something that America starts doing differently. The only thing that America could do to stop making these people "so angry" is to disappear from the face of the earth.

But that’s not going to happen.

So it means that one side has to go.

Let’s get it done.

We can resolve the whole problem quite easily. The whole middle east ought to be turned into a radioactive parking lot. We won't have to worry about these moslem fanatics and we will have the oil to power our industrial base. If this seems far out consider what they would do to us if they possessed the power we do. You know the answer to that question. Do we have to will to prevail? I wonder.

The Liberals are irresponsible Fools. They do not protect American citizens, nor do they care. They gutted the intelligence and investigative agencies and made copyright protection and attendance of sensitivity seminars the top national security priorities. The liberals did not go after Al Quida in '93 or in '98. Furthermore they launched a war in support of the terrorist oranization's activities in the Balkans while ignoring and censoring Muslim atrocities against Christians in the Sudan, the Phillipines and Indonesia. Faced with an enemy who wanted to kill 12,000 Americans the moral relativists obscured the threat, conducted politics and 'split-the-difference' resulting in the murder of 6,000 Americans. All to benefit and empower their erstwhile geopolitical allies who do their bidding in the Balkans and the Caucausus.

Liberals are and have always been Traitors to Western civilization.

One needs to ask these questions in order to find a lasting solution to a problem. For example, if one is overweight: who: I am the problem, I am fat; what: I am overweight if I stay this way I could die; Why: I eat too much and I don't exercise.

There is a problem with your analogy. If I am overweight, the answers to these questions matter. It matters "why I am overweight", because then I can figure out how (theoretically) not to be overweight.

But it doesn't matter "why" these people hate us and murder us. It suffices to observe that they do. Because once that observation has been made, the only solution to the problem is to fight back.

No matter what the "reasons they hate us" are. I mean, think about it:

Suppose they hate us Because We Are Richer Than They Are. In this case, what is the Solution to the Problem of them murdering us? Fight back dammit!

Suppose they hate us Because Our Women Do Not Wear Veils. In this case, what is the Solution to the Problem of them murdering us? Fight back dammit!

Suppose they hate us Because The Radius Of The Moon Divided By the Average Velocity Of A Sparrow Is Not A Prime Number. In this case, what is the Solution to the Problem of them murdering us? Fight back dammit!

In other words, I don't give a rat's ass "why" they hate and murder us. I'm sure they have their "reasons" because after all, everybody has "reasons" for everything that they do.

I'm just not very interested in those "reasons" when, whatever they are, they can somehow lead these alleged human beings into thinking it is rational to murder thousands of strangers in cold blood. When we are dealing people who think that way, the reasons just don't matter. Only fighting back does.

Who is more propagandized by its own government, Americans or Europeans, Australians, Kiwis, and Canadians?

Probably Europeans or Canadians, in this list. But you left out certain despotic Muslim states, such as Iran or Taliban-led Afghanistan. Why?

Question No. 2. Who is more delusional in terms of the bizarre religious beliefs they have, Moslems or Christians?

I would say they are about equal. But you left off this list a third category, which is the actual group we are dealing with here: Radical Muslims.

Radical Muslims are more delusional in terms of the bizarre religious beliefs they have than either Muslims or Christians. Period. Ok?

Question No.3. Who has the more aggressive history of attack, torture, murder: Christians or Moslems?

The question as stated is ambiguous. During what time period? During all of history, do you mean to say?

It is a little unclear what historical events such as may have occurred several hundred years ago have to do with what should be our response to a current, extant, murderous, psychopathic, and brainwashed ideology such as Radical Islam. Care to explain?

I mean suppose that "Christianity" has the more aggressive history in the sense that you state. What would that prove? That we ought to let Radical Islam "catch up", before we engage in any response?

Do we have to will to prevail? I wonder

Now that really is the big question, isn't it? Do we have the courage to eliminate the Arab states the sponsor terrorism and ferment hatred of Americans? Do we have the courage to defend our own country and its citizens? I also wonder.

Thank you for your eminently reasonable comments and questions. Re. question No. 1, I felt I'd suggest a comparison of propagandized Americans to other nationals of similar or industrialized countries. Americans are spectacularly propagandized, which is no secret outside of our country or inside our federal govt. It helps make our democracy work. Please review the "Creel Commission" (just prior to WWI) and the books and essays on propaganda by some of its former members, including the developer of the PR industry Edward Bernays and of the revered journalist Walter Lippman.****************************************************I imagine the Afghanis are not deceived by Taliban propaganda; instead, they are terrorized by the Taliban.*****************************************************3. The brutal, aggressive, and torturing history of Christianity is most likely worse than the brutal history of Islam. That means that before we rush to judgement about the extremist Moslems, we could remind ourselves that they are in fact human beings susceptible to the same kind of delusional ideation that we Americans and Christians are.**********************************************************We should examine the context in order to determine our role in inspiring the searing hatred directed against us, not only by Middle-Eastern Moslems. While nothing can justify the terrorist actions against us on the 11th, there exist many reasons to encourage such justification in the minds of foreigners whose friends, neighbors, communities, or co-religionists we have killed and or tortured. If you had read once a week for the last five years that the U.S. Govt justified the price of the death of 500,000 young children (as of 1996) on its sanctions, maybe you or some of your friends would be whipped into a frenzy of hatred toward the govt that did and said that. 6000 in NY x 80 = 480,000. young children.*********************************************************What FReepers seem to overlook is that they and our leaders our human and therefore susceptible to delusional ideation. American history - the kind usually not taught in school - is as horrific as any nations's history, including that of the Nazis. **************************************************************We delusionally believe we are good fighting evil. While the U.S. has a terrible record of international terrorism as well as domestic terrorism, the problem lies in our humanity. Aggressive, brutal, and delusional leads to violence, brutality, death, and destruction.********************Thank you, Dr. Frank, for reading my comments.

Do we have the courage

Sadly, I think not.
Even if 9/11 had been a Nuke attack,
and the entire City of NY had been wiped out, by now the American
anger would have died, and "feeling the terrorists pain," would be the headlines.

All right, you lash out. What are you striking back at? Sure you can hit the terrorists and all Arabs. Does that solve the problem? No. In the round about and unclear way of mine I was trying to get to the point that we are reaping the seeds we have sown by our intervention around the world. Did the Americans and others that died deserve it? No. But they were "collateral damage" as the saying goes.

So we bring the terrorists to justice or death and we kill a lot of people, has that solved the problem? No. Do we feel good for awhile? Possibly. The problem is solved when the terrorists can be brought to justice, if that is possible, and the reasons for the attack no longer exist. Our record in solving problems by intervention is very poor. We go into WWI which leads to WWII. WWII didn't solve anything as it lead to over 40 years of Soviet domination in Central and Eastern Europe and our troops are still there. We intervene in Korea and the situation is little different. Vietnam, despite the tremendous sacrifices of our men, went Communist. Now, old Dubya wants to remove some of the sanctions on Syria and Iran for their possible assistance in the war on terrorism.

Well, let us review some history. We support the Shah and his tyranny in Iran and we supply him with arms. The Shah is overthrown and Iran is now our enemy. We aid and abet Hussein in his war with Iran and then Hussein invades Kuwait and Hussein is now an enemy. Now we are back full circle and Iran might be a friend again. Our interventions have brought nothing but further interventions. Perpetual war for perpetual peace as the saying goes. We still believe the line of the government. The same Dubya who was willing to open our borders to his friend, Vincente in Mexico, is now the enlightened leader.

The problem is that we are not abiding by the wisdom of our Founding Fathers particularly the wisdom of George Washington. You say it is not important at this time. I say it is vitally important to understand why we are in this situation so we can extricate ourselves from it and to make sure we don't get into this situation again. If we can punish the terrorists good, but we have to stop the endless cycle of our interventions. We have to be true to our founding and our Christian faith.
