OKCSubmariner, thank you for staying on this topic. I hope that FR remains a vehicle for serious exploration of OKC and WTC conspiracies, despite the wartime conditions.

Carry_Okie, thanks for the ping from another thread.

I am looking for a plausible theory regarding the OKC bombing, that would explain the admission of guilt and silence on the particulars by McVeigh. He just doesn't fit the role of a Middle Eastern patsy.

One can assume that there was a steady stream of warnings about the WTC bombing, since the first attempt. Unless there was a warning that had pointed to the method of attack and the date, what could the FBI possibly do, short of closing down the WTC for good?

Good point. How about contacting the NSA and doing a retrospective screen against references to the WTC in their vaunted and illegal Echelon system? Then there is moving defense resources toward Manhattan for purposes of rapid response. Neither happened. That's just off the top of my head and I know nothing of the possibilities.

You and your silly details. We're not supposed to analyze why this happened. We should simply give the feds as much new power as possible. And trust them.

A senior intelligence operative, having great knowledge in Middle Eastern terrorists matters, has not even been consulted on the 11 Sept. 2001 activities, in fact, he also, has been denied access to the AG, or any Threat Analysis Group meetings. Also, one of the first and foremost Special Air Service operatives worldwide, has been denied access to address the matter of covert military operations in Afghanistan, by our officials

So, who do we see about that?

What excuse do they give for not utilizing these intelligence resources Blue?

:::slaps own face:::

Sorry, I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I typed that question....

Lemme grab a Sheeple answer... uh, it's not 'credible' or maybe... it's not 'specific' enough...yeah, yeah, that's the ticket... not 'specific' enough.

Do you think the non-sharing among the agencies is just a King of the Mountain-type attitude, or more of a 'protect what you got' bit?

Be safe. Take care.

Another event in the background ["Project Bojinka" lurking] was the new airport terminal building (built with Clinton's consent) at Guam in 1995. Only one gate had a controlled passenger routing to Customs & Immigration. The rest of the 20, or so, gates were open to the general population with a central routing to the Customs & Immigration area.

TOTAL violation of Customs & Immigration laws!

Flights from Hong Kong, Yap, Manila or anywhere in the Pacific (famous for drug smuggling) had their passengers on the honor system. A passenger gets off a plane from Manila, goes into the public restroom with a knapsack & comes out empty handed - proceeding on to the Customs & Immigration area - on his honor.

Two minutes later, a janitor comes out of the restroom pushing a large garbage can filled with paper, & goes off-shift, exiting with no security checks, carrying "his" new bag. Coming in to work, the airport employees didn't have to clear security, they had a 'secure' private elevator.

Drugs or bombs; who cares?

The stuff hit the fan when Customs saw the arrangement at the time the terminal was first opened, but Clinton said it wasn't to be addressed - election year. The FAA saw no security problem with "Bojinka" still a current issue. That shouldn't surprise us.

Keep in mind that the security is the responsibility of the airline; mandated by the FAA, who doesn't care, as we found out on 9-11.

There are no accidents in this picture!

With the Muslim terrorist cells in the Philippines, the risk to the West Coast is extremely high, but you have to come to Free Republic to read it.

Accident? I refuse to believe so. I have to assume that nothing has changed. Anybody taking any bets?

Thanks for the ping, Fred.

I just finished reading this too. It is mind boggling that the FBI has been monitoring them for years. What were they waiting for?

The FIB, like our lawgivers, were waiting for the terrorists to act. Only when the hue and cry went up from across the land could they strip another layer of our civil liberties from us. And most are only too happy to surrender them.

This incident finally reveals to us the M.O. of those who would enslave us.

Looking back as far as the Stockton schoolyard shootings, it becames obvious.

Patrick Purdy had been in and out of jail on numerous violent crimes. And each time he was arrested, the Los Angeles DA, John Van De Kamp downgraded the felony to a misdemeanor. Then after Purdy shot up the schoolkids, California AG, Van De Kamp sealed Purdy's criminal record. (no surprises here)

But, it gave the People's Repubilic of Californica lawgivers the excuse they needed to pass the (so-called) assault rifle ban. This did nothing to reduce violent crime, but it did strip a layer of our rights from law-abiding citizens and became the model for all state and federal (so-called) assault rifle bans.

The Branch Davidian seige at Mt. Carmel was a milestone because it gave the feds the opportunity to make an example of those people for all the world to see. They showed what happens to people who would dare to resist the federal goon squad. Some say that the Delta Force was there in an advisory capacity. Now that the public's attention has turned away from Waco, the truth of Delta's true purpose there has been revealed. (Commandos Left a Calling Card: Their Absence - '"These are trained killers," said Daniel Goure, a former Defense Department official who is now a senior fellow at the Lexington Institute, a policy research group based in Virginia. "They're just right for the kind of tactical operation we're looking at, like going into a cave or bunker network full of armed people and making sure none of them get out alive. They're perfect for taking out bin Laden and all the people around him."')

They are a killing machine, pure and simple. If they were advising the FIB's, then the advice they were dispensing was how to wipe out the Branch Davidians.

The OKC bombing was another milestone. It allowed the federal mafia to pass more oppressive laws that stripped another layer of our civil liberties while at the same time, smear the growing militia movement.

Which finally brings us to the World Trade Center disaster.

The feds have known about these terrorists for years and did nothing. Naturally. By looking the other way, they knew that the terrorists would do their dirty work and effect public opinion so that Joe Six-Pack would practially beg the government to tighten the noose another notch.

Thanks again, for your hard work and diligence, OKCSub.
