Hillary Panned for Sour Demeanor during Bush Speech

Hockey fans at Philadelphia's Rangers-Flyers game Thursday night were so enthralled with President Bush's speech that they actually forced the cancellation of the game's third period to continue watching on the arena's Jumbotron.

But seated in the House chamber, New York Senator Hillary Clinton was rolling her eyes, looking bored and remained seated as her colleagues gave Bush one standing ovation after another.

Friday morning her disengaged demeanor was being roundly panned by talk radio hosts everywhere.

"You know why she reacted that way," WABC's Curtis Sliwa told his partner Ron Kuby."She just saw her hopes to run for president next time around go up in smoke."

Down radio dial in New York, nationally syndicated talker Don Imus was even harder on the former first lady.

"She was disgraceful," Imus told his partner Charles McCord. "She looked irritable, rolling her eyes and talking."

Imus didn't care much for Sen. Clinton's post speech comments either. "I mean, she was going out of her way to point out how she'd spent the entire week down at ground zero, which is not true, by the way. But I think we know what that's all about."

Imus then turned his ire towards Mrs. Clinton's husband. "I just thank God that he's not still the president, that's all, because we didn't have to endure the self aggrandizing display of lip-biting and head wagging and 'I love you' to some bimbo in the balcony."

I'd like to see Rudy run for her senate seat and get rid of her and her kind once and for all.

I'll second that!

(But we are thankful in Oregon this morning that Kitzhaber (current governor)announced that he is NOT going to be running for Senator to replace Gordon Smith.)

4)He knows where it's been (sure, it was in a land far far away long long ago, but it was there AT LEAST once...)

My guess is that it was ONLY once........Yuck, what a horrid thought!

Wouldn't it be interesting if while tracking all these suspect financial dealings in the days/weeks before Sept 11, Billarys' name pops up?

Possibility or just wishful thinking on my part?

"My brother told me he saw her trying to work a line of relatives outside the dig, and not one would unfold their arms to shake her hand."

I would LOVE to have been able to see this, myself.

I was channel surfing this morning and tuned in to "The View" which I never do. Even they showed pictures of Hillary and her demeanor. No discussion or comment followed. No need.

You've got the right idea; only you'd have to go to Panama, Switzerland, or the Cayman Islands to find the paper.

But if she runs in 2004, women voters will put her in the white house, and there is nothing we men can do about it. Could spell the end of our Republic!!

The majority of married women voted for George W. Bush in 2000. My guess is that the majority of single women will join us in 2004. This country is finally seeing the real MAN that George W. Bush is, and my prediction is that he will win by a landslide.

Hillary is history, and she knows it! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Women voters are not particularly impressed with the haginpantssuit. They are however, deeply involved with their families safety and wellbeing, and financial security. Hillary has nothing for them any more. There will be more and more revelations of Clinton felonies and the reaction will be severe. Even The Rapist on TV hand over face crying croc. tears and lip biting ain't gonna help. TOAST!

The question is--does she weigh as much as a duck?

Easy answer to that one: EXACTLY THE SAME!

If you don't understand the movie reference, that's OK. Go here, Scene 5. You probably still won't understand, but at least I tried. ;-)

Breyer was there. I believe for security reasons, part of the court was not present for the same reason Cheney was not there.

I think that map would look different today. New York needs our support. After what I have seen on TV of the brave men and women and their spirit. I will not bash NYC any more. That is as long as they do not do something stupid like re-elect Hillary! :)

Gridlock, I am with you - her behavior is no accident. Soon the "peace-nik" leftist movement will start to surface and she is positioning herself for leadership of it. She is waiting for Bush to turn his back so she can stab him in it. It won't be long before she can find her opportunity- remember the democrats are going to have to find a new way to define themselves and soon so they can make progress in the 2002 election.

An interesting little side note. I noticed when President Bush entered the chamber he went from person to person shaking hands and addressing each one by first name. When Hillary was in front of him, he quickly nodded to her and went on to the next person.

Dubya knows those who are the enema! He has a very long memory and does not tolerate evil, foreign or domestic.

Helen Thomas just asked Ari Fleischer what proof we have that Bin Laden is really the guy involved w/the attacks. She is being VERY antagonistic, demanding proof immediately - Ari responded that Bin Laden is already under indictment for the embassy bombings, that Powell has said that our information indicates that all roads lead to Bin Laden, etc. Maybe we better add Helen to the list of suspects?
