Today I am contemplating the sacrifice of the 21 soldiers and 33 sailors who are the first military casualties of the first war of the 21st century. For some reason, they seem to have been forgotten.

You're right about this annie, and it was good of you to point it out. We need to remember all of the sacrifices made in this new war.

I think the enormity of the losses in NYC has overshadowed what happened at the Pentagon, as well as in Pennsylvania. I also believe that, in time, every aspect of this horror will be recognized.

"For some reason, they seem to have been forgotten."

I agree, it seems that the men and women at the Pentagon are almost ignored, and the media should be made aware of this, But we can do something about that too, NOTHING better than a good old FReeping of the press about our first military casualties of this "War on terrorism"

"Let's Roll"

I was thinking last night while watching the speech, how are we going to keep our "resolve" if this takes years?? Then I remembered those bracelets with POW names on them that we wore during Vietnam...remember that?? Maybe if we had a symbol like that to help remind us of the goal, after things get back to normal, what do you think??

I sure do remember that, I had one of those bracelets, This is a great idea. I oftem think about those poor guys who died in the mission to free our hostages in Iran in 1979. Those soldiers who died, died in vein and got no recognition and I have never forgot that, or them. I tied a yellow ribbon on my car antenna for the hostages and a black one for our fallen hero's of that failed mission. Many people asked me why I had a black ribbon along with a yellow one, when I explained why, most people would say, "Damn...I forgot about them" and this is why we should never forget the people who gave their lives for our freedom.

We, the people of this country can never forget our hero's and never let this happen again. So I think the comment by the man on flight 93 should be the slogan of our resolve. So!!!! "Let's Roll" and keep this slogan alive and be the reason why we never forget?

I think Hewlett Packard has a bumper sticker program and paper, much like their T-shirt transfer program. I will check it out and get back with you.
