We must find out what Hillary said!
The President's Address

I appreciated the sharp instincts of the cameraman who kept panning to Hillary ... we all saw her pathetic demeanor and p*ss poor attitude. The camera also caught her making a statement to Chucky, followed by his goofy grin. WHAT DID SHE SAY? As the son of deaf (now deceased) parents, I know there are some amazingly accurate lip readers. Does anyone know a deaf person that watched (or could see a replay) the speech?

Seriously, I thought I caught the exchange between Schumer and Hitlery. It was right after Bush made a statement that the Taliban would meet the same fate as the terrorists. Schumer turns to Hitlery and says something to the effect, "Why would he say that". Hitlery shrugs her shoulders, rolls her eyes, and says something like "I don't know". The exchange was very sarcastic and cynical at a time when the other members of Congress were rolling with approval. I'm no lip reader, but this is my best estimate of what I saw.

WIPE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE MRS. CLINTON!
When the members of Congress sang together last week, MRS. Clinton was smiling while everyone else was somber. Tonight before the president came into the chamber she was smiling again. Those around her were somber. Those who see the speech again on C-SPAN may catch this before the president enters.
Another bad affectation from the wannabe president.

The wench, as you so aptly put it, looked like a zombie to me. Just dead. She's looked that way every time I've seen her lately (for weeks).
I get the impression that she is in a personal meltdown of some kind.
Todd Beamer's widow looks 50,000 times better than bill clinton's wife did tonight.

It was kind of jarring how disengaged and disrespectful Hillary was during the speech. I didn't notice anyone else acting rudely. But I think she believes she is playing to the 15-25% (depending upon which state you are in) who still think Bush is a dope. I know they are out there. I heard them on the radio tonight with the usual, "yeah, but he didn't write his speech and he's no Clintoon," rant.

did the firefighters really shrink from shaking her hand? That's great. Yes. I saw it live on MSNBC - I believe it was on Saturday, Sept 15 - during one of the funerals of a firefighter or of the firefighters' chaplain. Many of these valient firefighters just stood respectfully with their heads bowed, and ignored her as she reached out to shake their hands. Many would not even make eye contact with her.

Your family is in my prayers. God bless.

And my nephew, Tom Foley, is one of the missing firefighters. I'm so sorry to hear this. I will certainly include Tom and your family in my prayers tonight. I've been so awestruck by the bravery and dedication of these true American heroes like your nephew Tom.

I believe she half-smiled and said, "My girdle is killing me."

I saw the same stuff on (I think) a different network. I can't believe the cameraman caught her being disrespectful TWICE. What a b***h. What a clever cameraman -- maybe he/she should be declared an American hero for (hopefully) saving us from a Hillary presidency (that is, assuming Bush carries out what he says he will do). I hope FOX makes a lot of this.

Did anyone see her interview after the bombing? She said that she knew that Chelsea was in downtown NYC and worried when she didn't contact her for a few hours. She didn't want to call Bill, who was out of the country and let him worry. I just have one question about her statement. Does Chelsea still have Secret Service protection and if so they would easily be able to contact either parent who both have the protection.?????

She's mourning the DEATH of the "Clinton legacy" or more precisely the revelation of what it is really all about!
Bush, as a WAR president, has already, in 9 months, vastly eclipsed 8 years of Clintonism with his greatness.
She can't get firemnen in NYC to shake her hand!
She's mourning the death of her brand of Feminazi liberalism.
Michael Savage said earlier tonight (before the Speech) "Liberalism in America is dead after Sept. 11, 2001."
Bush's MASTERFUL & IMPECCABLE speech was the "verbal coda" of its death knell.
Bush has been called by DESTINY to lead the Nation & the World at this HOUR!

"Damn it, Usama promised THIS war to me and Bill!"
To: Hildy
You're right, Hildy. God's hand has been there all through the campaign and the awful election aftermath. Even Dubya's (used to be from Texas and mean Dubya affectionately) two trips to Europe, that were reported as such disasters, developed friendships with European leaders that we need now. Did anyone else pick up on Chirac (sp? French President) calling him Jorge?
We need to trust in President Bush, he will do the right thing. God didn't bring him all this way to drop him now. There will be setbacks and at times we will be disheartened but we must stay the course and trust that our leaders know a little bit more about what is going on than we do.
To: Hildy
The libs are falling in and so should we Damn... I'm really going dyslexic these days.
I had to read that line of yours twice - the first time I saw it, I read, "The libs are falling in and we should shove them".
Oh well... Better get my eyes checked again
To: ChemistCat
Thank you for speaking for me. You are dead on the money in your words. APPLAUSE!
To: Azzurri
Just found in on my TiVo, and replayed it over and over. With the angle on Fox News you can't see what Schumer says, but Hillary clearly says "I don't know. Maybe......, I guess" and I can't figure out what's between "maybe" and "guess". Some of it is covered up by Schumer's clapping hands. Schumer has a goofy smile on his face too, Hillary looks high.
To: Bill Rice
Hey Bill...What you and your girlfriend saw in Hitlery's choice of fashion, is actually 1970's Soviet retro.
To: JusPasenThru
Are you serious? Hillary was obviously making a demeaning remark as she rolled her eyes and clapped like a seal, not once but three times, while others were giving a standing ovation.
I was watching the speech in the lobby of the Washington Athletic Club and the second time the camera showed her, the whole crowd burst out laughing, except one woman.
