Rush just mentioned the fact that the "Hate America First" crowd are planning "peace vigils" all around the country soon.

He will talk more about that in the next hour, if some of you would like to tune in.

If anything ever needed "FREEPED" it is those "Hate America First" vigils.

The government is attempting to curb civil liberties and to create a climate in which it is impossible for progressive people to speak their mind.

Why do people who want to go back to living in caves and gathering nuts and berries insist on calling themselves “progressive”?

I'm a Viet Nam veteran who came to detest protesters. I share your sentiments.

However, the record is quite clear that the FAA methodically ensured that the airports were non-secure, defying the Congress itself - with impunity.

Despite the passionate rhetoric, the undeniable advance intelligence is continuously being documented; the event was known to be coming - even the time frame.

There is no appreciable difference between knowingly allowing something obvious to happen; and making it happen.

The point being that without those responsible in our own government being held accountable, it will happen again.

However short people's memory is, this was a repeat event; there was nothing unique, but the magnitude.

We didn't want to know the truth before; we must do the intelligent thing now. The pattern must be stopped.

However powerful concensus may be, those facts cannot be changed. American 'heads-in-the-sand' produced this as much as the terrorists. That's not to say that the supporting people shouldn't be hunted down like wild dogs & killed.

The WTC-Pentagon attacks were the direct result of successful cover-ups in the case of TWA-800 and Oklahoma City - among others.

Chest-beating is phony self-agrandizment; nothing more. It accomplishes nothing. Intelligent choices must be made, with appropriate action.

Military action might be necessary, but without random mob oriented blood thirst, who would we attack?

The threat is in the terrorist cells, not Kabul. The money source & the terrorist cells need to be attacked.

Of their own accord, Kabul will starve to death and freeze - no loss of life is necessary on our part. Kabul will pay us to take Bin Laden - and deliver him.

As a soldier, I hated the protesters - and the conflict that I had to bet my life for their right to speak freely - unpopular or not. That was the America I served for; I would do it again.

Over the years, more of the truth of Viet Nam came out. Now, I ask questions and pay attention. I advise all to do the same.

As Patton said, the goal is to make the other son-of-a-bitch die for HIS country. Let's not waste our own troops or tax dollars on the delusion that, "...we're doing something about it."

If you want to be American, call/write your congressman & ask him/her to not reward the airlines which brought us this horror with grants, loans & tax breaks.

Ask your congressman to NOT pass legislation exempting the airlines from responsibility.

The airlines brought us this nightmare with the help of the FAA - don't be so ignorant as to make it worth their time.

If there's not enough business, let the offending airlines take the hit.

Right now, over-zealous Americans are more threatening than the terrorists.

There are several Palestinians linked to or a part of the PLO,that will be in these protests. I remember counter protesting those PLO flag waving vermin in DC prior to getting called up from Inactive reserves as a possible paratrooper replacement for Iraq. (82nd abn vet)
