It would be a disaster for the U.S. if he surrenders. We'd be under constant attack from Islamic extremist trying to free him. Unless we turned him, and he gave up everyone in his network. Otherwise, his legend would live on in the mind of his followers.

I would think Allah would be pleased with his sacrifice if he turned himself in. He would surely advance his cause by becoming a martyr at the hands of the great white satan. This coward could really strike a blow by giving himself up.

We can only assume and rest uneasy that any capture of bin laden, dead or alive, will unleash a reign of terror that we will have to deal with.

I can't imagine that he has not put in place procedures that automatically trigger upon his capture or death.

I would imagine he has a different set of actions for either event.

I don't know how we could prevent these 'automatic' worldwide responses...

They have independent yet highly coordinated groups of terrorists throughout he world. Each specializes in it local struggles (Phillipines, Kashmir, Tamil, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Chechnya, Dagestan, and Israel.

They do exchange favors and assist each other when necessary.

They receive their training in Afghanistan, and Iraq.

There are big cells in Europe and the USA, which are spreading the fight to the Christian heartland.

Unless we weed them out now, we will suffer increasing attack of terrorism.
