I just saw Ollie North on Fox. He said that the terrorists have already taken their best shot and that we should not expect anything more serious than what has already occurred. He said that if they had more serious weapons, they'd have already used them. However, he said that 'truck,' (ANFO) fertlizer/fuel oil, bombs was still a possibility. (Isolated incidents, at best). He said we are about to see the most sophisticated military operation ever undertaken.

I agree that the terrorists at this moment are probably on the move and in a defensive, regrouping mode. We haven't heard the last of them, but I don't expect anything major for awhile. But I expect hoaxed bomb threats somewhere in the country virtually every day for the next few weeks.

I don´t agree with Ollie´s assessment. This plan has been in the making for years. It wouldn´t take years to plan a couple of highjackings. It would however, take years to plant enough sleepers to really wreak havoc, smuggle in enough bios, etc. I believe we have only witnessed step one.

However, I pray he is correct.

Thanks for Ollie's statement! I really miss Ollie North ... he hasn't been on any of our local stations for about a year now, as far as I know.

Well, if you are an avid reader, and watcher,nothing up to this minute displays this!

It wont do much good to destroy the countries that harbor,aid and abet, when THE HOMELAND is up to its keister in terrorists!

Hmmmmmmm.......Ollie North is about the only "expert" I've heard saying we've seen the worst. All the other "experts" are saying a lot worse is coming. Wonder why Ollie is the lone voice for his point of view?

Hope Ollie knows what he is talking about ( am guessing he does.) I am getting to the point where I am now VERY curious as to what our military response will specifically consist of, and I also CAN'T WAIT to see it, (though I hate to think of the innocents who will inevitably be in harm's way).

I have believed that from the very beginning. Osama bint Laden is nothing more than an Arabic Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh hoped to precipitate a race war with a truck bomb. Osama bint Laden wants a Jihad.

PS - in Arabic, "bin" meanse "son of," "bint" means "daughter of."

As far as I am concerned, Osama bint Laden is a coward, and every way we can label him as such should be used.

That is what I tend to believe, also. However, this is a wake up call to America that a few years down the road, the best shot is liable to be a nuclear device, and that we've been given fair warning that somebody out there will be willing to set it off in the US or Europe, unless decisive action is taken now.
