I don´t agree with Ollie´s assessment. This plan has been in the making for years. It wouldn´t take years to plan a couple of highjackings. It would however, take years to plant enough sleepers to really wreak havoc, smuggle in enough bios, etc. I believe we have only witnessed step one.

I agree with you, and disagree with Ollie. The scenario is thus:

Terrorists do a horrific act (9/11), thus eliciting a major military response from the USA, which kill many muslims, etc. Using THAT as an excuse, they then unleash some REALLY bad things on us.

Like you said, I hope I am wrong and Ollie is right.

I saw his comments this morning. North has been out of the loop for years, and now is little better than a loose cannon.

I disagree with Ollie this time as well. If you're going to take on an opponent much bigger and much faster than yourself, you're first going to start when he ain't lookin' and then you're sure as heck not going to let him get up...so he can PULVERIZE you for making the attempt in the first place! Follow up attacks are a given...and given this guys record, he'll do something even BIGGER and more horrorific--like a Chemical Attack. NOT a bio-attack. Biological weapons take time to incubate and even then it would take some time (depending on the agent used) for it to be identified as a terrorist action. But victims barfing up their lungs from SARIN or SOMAN will be immediately identified as being the victims of terrorism. This is especially true as first responders pouring into the area who are improperly trained or improperly equipped will also then begin to die from this new exposure to a very persistant agent.

FREEPERS, look around your towns and cities...are the Emergency Operations Centers conducting disaster drills or especially Chemical Attack drills with the fire departments and hospitals? ASK LOCAL GOVERNMENT why this is not being done. These "rehersals" are critical to success in the event of a real attack...for in the rehersals the glitches and snafus will appear so they can be planned for in advance. If this is not being done, then your city or town is about as ready for an attack as those poor souls in the WTC.
