I looked up at a billboard somewhere near Beekman Street. At first glance I thought it said "HELL" in great block letters. Below that I read, "We’re Open." It was an advertisement for a store named Moshell’s.

Absolutely brilliantly written, I felt like I was there and saw what you saw (but I will admit I can't really ever imagine the horror of seeing those people jump to their deaths)

You've done us all a great service by writing your account.

The WTC's and that whole financial area is my husband's place of work, where he's spent his career....He walks ground zero everyday but on that morning he witnessed the planes crashing from across the Hudson, unable (THANK GOD) to get in to work because he was delayed by 15 mins of traffic, The Port Authority had just stopped the trains just in time (he was trying to get on one)

Many of my husband's partners were in their offices that day, and stood (like you in disbelief) of what they were seeing. Their building had shook badly from the first & second plane hitting... They stood by their office windows and just stared in shock. Their building is so close, it's closed off and in the "red zone" as they refer to it.

His partners & staff didn't evacuate till the 2nd plane hit, and many of them witnessed the people hitting the ground from 80+ stories up.

They are haunted.

But then we are all HAUNTED by this in whatever way we experienced this....and I believe that some GOOD must come from this horror.

The staff at our Cortlandt Street offices had similar experiences. I am glad I missed such sights. Your husband's coworkers are in for some sleepless nights, I am very sorry to say. I am happy to report, however, that our 400+ staff escaped unscathed. A bit of good news in the midst of the horror.

Who is Scott Hofstee, the named author of the first linked site in your post at #43, and why does the message say it is dated September 3, but the "View Source" data says the page was created on September 17? In which church does Mr. Hofstee find his spiritual authority and covering? I know and believe that prophecy given by the Holy Spirit to and through God's redeemed people is very much a part of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ today, but I find some of the statements do not ring true in that post -- the ones about where Bush's heart is. I thought over and over that Mr. Hofstee was writing about clinton. I have seen the sincerity of Mr. Bush's faith. I have prayed countless hours for him and I have never found myself burdened for him to quit worrying about his legacy and attend to God's will. Quite the opposite. So help me out here, okay?

Spiritual authority comes from God, not man. Submission and covering are mistaught and amount to smothering the Holy Spirit and are idolatry. It is better to obey God than man. As to the link, maybe its your browser. I just did a view info and it says:

I don't know who he is but "gotta witness" his prophecy is true. You can backtrack on that link and find more things by him on that site. Bush, the country is now at war and I am not going to saw anything against him because America needs all the help it can get. You can do your own research. There's much info available even on FreeRepublic.
