One note though, and it's a Dad speaking.

We shielded our kids (age 5 & 7) from most of this last week, speaking only in general terms.

I trust that your children are mature enough for this but please consider that it may affect other kids whose parents are trying to deal with this as we did.

Today in church there was fire and brimstone and honesty, and I thought for a moment of taking the kids out, but i didn't. Better that they heard it in church I reasoned, than a public school.
