Hmmm...are you speaking of the American Episcopal Church...or the ANGLICAN Catholic church...I can assure you, the ACC is NOTHING like the Epicopal...except for some of its bells and whistles (traditional service format). The ACC is what the Original Catholic Church in England was before it broke from the Roman See.

Here is a 'home' page:
The Anglican Catholic Church

We use The 1928 Book of Common Prayer

AND

What the ACC believes:

Anglican Faith and Practice

We use The 1928 Book of Common Prayer

I looked at the sites, lovely and all. Have they popped? That is an old expression, I should rephrase. Two threshold questions 1) Do they except Transubstantiation? 2) Do they accept the primacy of Rome? Are they recognized by Rome? If the answer to these questions are no, then despite their beautiful liturgies, I will have to say thanks, but no thanks....

Waugh is a good writer. Every Catholic should read Brideshead.

Father Phillips, Fr. Seeley et al. are the future of the Roman Catholic Church in America. All of us in our vibrant St. John Cantius parish love and respect these pastoral leaders.
