Why does this mean they had a bomb? I don't read this anywhere in this story. The operator told him what had happened in NY, and they surmised that was their fate as well. There is NOTHING in this telling about a bomb.

Except for the fact that debris was found much too far from the crash site to be part of the crash. But then, we wouldn't you to have facts, it might force you to change your mind.

There is NOTHING in this telling about a bomb. Read it again. In about the middle it says -- "Beamer said her husband placed the call at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday and told Robinson that there were three knife-wielding hijackers on board, one who appeared to have a bomb tied to his chest with a belt. "

I'll be lighting a candle tonight for Glick, Beamer, and all the others whose courage thwarted evil on flight 93 that day.
Our brethren are already in the field, why stand we here idle? Let us roll.

From the text of the above article:

Beamer said her husband placed the call at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday and told Robinson that there were three knife-wielding hijackers on board, one who appeared to have a bomb tied to his chest with a belt. The other two hijackers took over the cockpit after forcing the pilot and co-pilot out.
You should read the entire post before calling the pot black.

Bomb or not ... and I'd be surprised, in spite of lax security, that they would have managed to smuggle one aboard. After all, the intent was to crash the fuel laden aircraft into the WH or Capitol Building ... that was their weapon. I watched Cheney this AM with Russert and I got the distinct impression that aircraft would have been shot down prior to it reaching Washington. It was at least 40 minutes away which gave an intercept aircraft ample time to respond. The brave passengers saved a U.S. fighter pilot the terrible dilemma of having to fire a missile at Flight 93.

Previous stories quoted other callers from the plane as reporting that the hijackers had announced that they had a bomb...

Read it again. One of the terrorists had a bomb strapped to his chest according to Beamer.
What's the matter? Does this "blow a hole" in your pet theory that the plane was shot down and the government didn't tell us?
(Sorry if I'm jumping on you unnecessarily, but I'm sick of the C.T.s still running their mouths in the silly way they do, even during this crisis. But if it got Michael Rivero banned, I guess it was worth it).
