Rumsfield was on the news earlier catagorically denying the US was involved. I'm inclined to believe him. It's too early and this would be striking for the sake of striking without any idea if it was doing any good. The retaliation will come. It won't be today. It won't be this week. But it will come. And when it does it will be devestating.

If we are striking Kabul, and I really hope we are, at least the Afgans will realize the cost of hosting Bin Laden. We need to send this message elsewhere too.

OF COURSE the military denies we're bombing the hell out of the Afghans. Would you expect it to tell all during a national crisis?
