God bless the Russians. Because of their steadfastenss over the centuries at great loss the west neither worships Allah or speaks Mongolian. The US has never really had to face the realities of Islam. Russia has and should be a welcome ally.

I saw Cohen up there yapping about innocent lives and how we can't stoop to the level of the terrorists. I wanted to reach through the toob and strangle him

So..........I wonder what Bush was doing while he was flying around the country hiding from the rest of the world. Bush was at Offut Airforce base which is the headquarters of STRATCOM, the US Strategic Command center for our forces. It has a command center located several stories below ground with excellent communication facilities which were used to conduct defense coordination before the President flew back to Washington.

I understand that A+Bert was so upset earlier, instead of apologising for saying we should nuke the entire Mid east, he explained it away that he was he was positively knocking more than a few back. Can't say I blame him.

Panic (the liberal response) is our enemy.

Actually, sympathetic enemies are within Afghanistan, especially those whose leader is Masood. There was an assassination attempt on his life yesterday, but he is still alive. This may be payback for that. I have this from Reuters. I hope he is still alive and that his forces bomb the *** out of Kabul.
To: r9etb
Masood, the leader of the opposition is still alive, let's hope. Recuperating in Tadjikistan and the bombings of Kabul are retaliation for the assassination attempt.

Bush was at Offut Airforce base which is the headquarters of STRATCOM, the US Strategic Command center for our forcesWant to bet he was on the phone making a quiet deal for SOMEONE to bomb Kabul with US financial backing?
To: michigander
Panic (the liberal response) is our enemy. Oh he wasn't panicked....just disgusted and mad as hell(it's his way)...same as most of us.
To: JMJ333
We don't know, as the Afghan rebel leader was almost killed yesterday, so this could part of an INTERNAL conflict, correct? Is there actual confirmation it was US warheads?
To: Kerensky
BIN LADEN SELECTED AS TALIBAN COMMANDER IN CHIEF That's good enough reason for me to turn Afghanistan into a parking lot.
Any volunteers to go help paint the lines?

Don't be so hasty to praise the Russians. Yes, they resisted the Mongols, but the real hero of resistance to Islam is the Byzantine Empire including the Sebs, the Hungarians, Greeks, etc.which withstood the Islamic onslaughts for hundreds of years until it collapsed with no help from the West at all.
To: McGruff
Wish it were so but more likely a response to the suicide bomber who took out the opposition leader (forgot his name already)
To: Goldi-Lox
Hi, No big deal, but "an eye for an eye' was intended to LIMIT retaliation to no more than 'an eye for an eye'. In summary, it is a mollifying admonition from the scriptures.
