War has been brought home to us in a very dramatic way. Television has a way of doing things with war that isn't reality.
God Bless America and may Bush do the right thing

It is time to wrap ourselves in the flag and stand up for Democracy! God Bless America!

We don't agree often, but we certainly do today, A+Bert. Let's make sure we get the right target, and then turn their homes into a glass-covered, smoking ruin.

We have a problem- The FBI and CIA didn't have the slighest idea of what is going on. What happened to the so called Israeli Intelligence sources.
To: GIVE BLOOD TODAY!
Fox News is reporting that NYC emergency personnel are pleading for people to give blood today. NYC blood donation centers are apparently overwhelmed and need people from all over the country to donate. Blood can be kept for at least a couple of days and flown in when flights are allowed.

They need those black boxes, these guys don't go quietly, they will get some clues from the black boxes.

Pilots in the cockpits of civilian planes should be armed from now on. Perhaps we can prevent a few of these such incidents in the future if they try the same trick again.
In the meantime, we must calmly determine who did this and extract retribution so great as to forever put doubt into a future enemy that might consider harming us.

The simple fact is too many middle eastern countries are willing to hide, and or support terrorism, it is well past time to make an example of one, Nuclear style, to give the rest pause, before they are willing to tolerate such activity.

First priority. Let's take care of the casualities. Secure what we can and hope for the best. Then lets think about what got us into this mess.
To: A+Bert
Our enemy consists of all known terrorists and all officials of all governments which are known to support terrorism. Any of these people we can get in our sights should be killed. Bush should immediately rescind the executive order which forbids assassination.
If we can tie any particular government to this act then we should take military action against that nation.
Exactly what action should be taken will require reflection at a later time. Do we simply destroy their command-and-control, or do we reduce the entire country to a Stone Age level of existence?

Amen my friend! I am so glad that President Bush is in charge, and that he will not let this stand as he said! Our security has been too lax for too long, and we now see the result.
God bless America!

"It is time to wrap ourselves in the flag and stand up for Democracy!"
Sorry Terry. It is time to identify the enemy, take up arms and eliminate the scourge, once and for all!
The country has just taken a monumental turn to the Right. But, how long before Dashle and Gephardt get on TV and blame Bush's foreign policy and tax cut?

We have to make it clear to our enemies that we will retaliate 10 fold the damage they inflict on us.
If a terrorist organization is responsible for this, then we must make it clear that the NATION that houses them will suffer the consequences as well.

The equivalent of Pearl Harbor
This is war
Pray, pray, pray for the survivors, for President Bush, for our nation's leaders, for our national safety.

About a quarter of a century ago, Bruce Herschensohn offered this advice to the President in the wake of continued terrorism:
Declare war against the nation of terrorism, and attack terrorist cells whatever country they may be located in. Any countries that don't want attacks falling within their territory would be advised not to be hosts to these islands of that nation.
Dennis Prager has suggested a response to terrorism: Donate large sums of money to Israel every time an act of terror is carried out against the United States. Every time an Arab or Palestinian group attacks the US, it makes Israel stronger.
