HOUSTON — Could Texas really turn blue? This year’s U.S. Senate race is testing whether Democrats can win a seat the state has kept in Republican hands for nearly four decades. Democrat James Talarico is facing Republican Ken Paxton in a contest that has renewed attention on Democrats’ chances of winning statewide. Texas last elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate in 1988, when Lloyd Bentsen won reelection. A Talarico victory would end that 38-year drought.

Apparently Kansas “ran out of ballots” first thing this morning.
I can’t believe that sicko won. But it has been planned.
Well, most here had been saying ad nauseam the polls were all wrong. Yes they were wrong, Talarico was even stronger than the polls showed.
I have been saying here on FR for the last few months that Texas was in bad shape politically, and that Talarico and Hinojosa should not be written off. It’s not even about Trump to be honest. Cost of living in Texas is through the roof, healthcare is bad, schools are bad, traffic is bad. It’s a freaking mess and people are tired of it. So if Talarico and Hinojosa pull off a win, it’s not going to be surprising to me.
RINO W Bush had the greenlight to turn Iran into a parking lot but he failed to act, now we’re having to deal with worse.
The Chinese put their slimy components into the voting machines.
Why did their IQ dip so low?
I mean, notwithstanding the fact that the party in power usually loses seats during the midterms, why would Democrat gains be a surprise given the glaringly obvious elephant in the room?
Not to mention that Paxton ran a terrible campaign. He was basically invisible the whole time. Lazy and expecting to win without trying. Screw him.

Housing costs and property tax went through the roof with the Californian invasion. They changed the political scene. Look at uber lib commie Austin. You can’t pay us to drive into the city limits. Used to be THE place to go shopping, out to eat, the movies, etc. but that ended years ago.

These numbers can’t be right. There could be some misvoting in big Texas counties. Texans intended to vote for Paxton may have accidentally tapped on the wrong button on the touch screen.
