U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke, according to his chief of staff.
Murphy started experiencing numbness in his arm while at his son's hockey game Saturday, his chief of staff said in a statement. He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors determined he had suffered a stroke.
Murphy was transferred to Johns Hopkins for further monitoring and is responding well to treatment.

Hee hee, we’re all on the same wavelength.
If he weren’t available, Connecticut would still elect another liberal Democrat.
Best wishes for his recovery and for his family at this time.
That’s a shame. Chickens-roost?
Wishes for speedy recovery offered.

Just two days ago he was harping about how Trump needs to send more money to Ukraine so I told him, gee I thought he is against us sending our money to support foreign wars that are NOT our problem. Dude is a mega prick and 53 yrs old I bet he was jabbed and double jabbed and triple jabbed too, safe and effective
Lord, may You be able to use this stroke to reveal Yourself to him, and have mercy.
Amrn, Lord have mercy on Sen. Chris Murphy his family and us all. Protect us from the follies of past good and evil intentions.
TDS is harmful to your health. The stress of so much hate can cause a heart attack or a stroke.
Good luck to him dealing with his second major brain defect.
On the bright side, perhaps Murphy will experience a stroke-induced political transition like Fetterman

Tevye is asked whether there is a proper blessing for the Tsar, and he replies:
“A blessing for the Tsar? Of course! May God bless and keep the Tsar... far away from us!”
It’s one of Tevye’s classic lines—respectful on the surface, but with a very clear punchline. 😄
“If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all.” I remember Thumper saying that. Perhaps Aesop said it first.
No problem. Just wheel him into the Senate Chamber on his hospital bed. Then prop him up next to turtle boy.
Leaving your wife of 17 years for a high level Dem political strategist and then breaking up with her, all over the short course of 3 years, can take it’s toll.
Add that to his stage 4 case of TDS and you have a lethal brew.
Scary,
