Long-Concealed Facts Exonerate Nixon and Require Sanctioning the Unethical Prosecution

Many citizens today, with varied sources of information, understand the highly unethical lawfare waged against President Donald Trump, as exemplified by the Russiagate hoax. By contrast, the more restricted media environment of the early 1970s made prosecutorial misconduct during Watergate harder to scrutinize. With fresh eyes now taking a closer look at the reporting and prosecution of Watergate, it is becoming clear that DOJ investigators should sanction prosecutorial misconduct and set the historical record straight on Richard Nixon’s innocence.

As a refresher, Watergate refers to a political scandal stemming from the June 17, 1972, burglary of the Democratic National Committee’s offices in the Watergate building by burglars with known CIA ties. After two years of investigations, committee inquiries, and trials, over 40 government officials were convicted or jailed, and President Richard Nixon was forced to resign from office.

Recently, former Nixon aide and historian Geoff Shepard presented his case to the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), arguing that the proceedings against Richard Nixon amounted to dishonest, partisan “lawfare” enabled by prosecutorial and Congressional misconduct. Hopefully, the OPR will follow up with a vigorous investigation and clear the record of this unfairly maligned former president.

Modern Watergate critics are familiar with Shepard’s excellent work, The Real Watergate Scandal. In this book, Shepard details what he describes as serious ethical lapses by the Watergate Special Prosecutor in pursuing Nixon and his aides. More importantly, he argues that the evidence strongly suggests Nixon was innocent of the long-alleged “cover-up.”

In addition to Shepard’s tour de force, several key revisionist works have been published in recent years, including Secret Agenda (Jim Hougan), Silent Coup (Colodny and Gettlin), and Postgate. Additionally, White House Call Girl (Phil Stanford) covers a minor but convincing set of lurid background facts showing the motivation for the burglary.

ddly, Watergate: A New History (Garrett Graff), while conventionally anti-Nixon in tone and intent, confirms the earth-shaking revelations of James Rosen’s book, The Strong Man, showing a lack of approval by John Mitchell or the Oval Office for the Watergate burglary.

These works, together with Shepard’s detailed documentation of corrupt insider framing of Nixon, are proof not only of Nixon’s lack of guilt but also of the massive unethical cover-up of the true story by those we are asked to believe without question: the Special Prosecutor, the Democrat-led Senate Watergate Committee and the mainstream media, specifically the Washington Post.

Why, fifty years later, should we investigate any flaws in Nixon’s prosecution? Because key questions remain: 1) was the prosecution of Nixon and aides (with Nixon as an unindicted co-conspirator) so clearly unethical that the OPR should conclude formally that the prosecution was fatally and unethically flawed; and 2) were the Senate investigation and Majority Watergate Report false in material particulars, constituting a willfully false official Report to the public? In light of the attempted replay of Watergate and the Russiagate hoax, these questions are existential.

To understand both scandals, we should first note the prosecution’s duty to provide the defense with all exculpatory evidence and all summaries and recordings of witness statements; the related prosecution should be dismissed.

We present here the crucial information deliberately concealed by Watergate Special Prosecutors, by the Congressional committees investigating Nixon, and also hidden by the Post. ...

This recommended article discusses these points:

1. Former Attorney General John Mitchell did not order the Watergate break-ins.

2. The Watergate burglary was primarily a CIA operation, not a Nixon campaign operation, as the prosecution and Senate have claimed.

3. The burglary targets were the wiretapping and documentation of prostitutes and their johns.

4. The “key” to the burglary was likely undisclosed to Nixon and his aides.

5. The smoking gun White House tape was misrepresented as a cover-up of criminality.

The reality? Leftists in the government went after Nixon using any means available.

If Shrillery was involved, you know it was a scam. Surprised Nixon didn’t shoot himself multiple times.

I always knew Nixon was screwed by TPTB. I cried watching his speech on TV when he said he was resigning. I remember exactly where I was.

I have been saying for some time, Watergate was a Media coup against President Nixon. It has become more and more clear the CIA was intimitly involved.

I probably should read The Real Watergate Scandal.

I need to buy this one book. Thanks.

Nixon was undone in large part by his own statements. He knowingly tried to obstruct the FBI investigation. His words. Pretty direct evidence.

Back then, I was working with the FBI and on the morning that the break in happened, I was speaking with the Western Director of the FBI in the Wilshire Boulevard building. The break in was described as an FBI op, a second attempt to install a bug on one particular desk of the DNC where phone calls were being made late at night to the Cuban legation, giving them classified details of our negotiations with the North Vietnamese in Paris. According to him, the first tap failed and the crew was trying to install a new tap.

He also told me that John Dean and L. Patrick Gray met at Gray's home and burned the contents of Gray's personal safe.

Remember that at that time, the Left in America and the rest of the world passionately wanted the US to lose in Vietnam - including nearly continuous direct communications with the enemy in Hanoi. Nixon was an obstacle which he proved conclusively when he ordered the bombing of the North Vietnamese forces during the 1973 Easter Offensive into South Vietnam, their direct violation of the Peace Accords. The Left made it their mission to get rid of President Nixon and there were more than enough opponents within our government to make this happen.

I’ve always held that Nixon was a true patriot and the Left couldn’t have that in a president after LBJ and company - any more than they could have a JFK - possibly the last decent Dem to ever be in the WH.

And the apology comes long after all of the principals are dead and their children are elderly.

Nixon instructed his FBI director to go where the evidence led him...how is that a cover up?

Red Pilled America did a ten part series on Richard Nixon. It made it clear he was railroaded out of office. What I remember, as a kid, was those annoying hearings that preempted my favorite TV shows. I also felt back then , how unfair he was being treated with nothing offered from Nixon’s side of the argument.

Nixon gave us Henry Kissinger, Klaus Schwabs mentor and Godfather of the Nazi “Operation Paperclip” Deep State + the Davos elite World Economic Forum beginning in the early 70s.

The CIA then ejected Nixon right after he intimated in an interview that he “knew something” about the JFK assassination. Installing Gerald Ford who being a good globalist soldier had whitewashed and legitimized the Warren Commission Report to say there is ‘no there, there’.

Not unlike how Ronald Reagan had to accept NWO Deep State “Poppy’ Bush to become President. Thereby giving us all the last 37 years of Deep State evil becoming increasingly entrenched and coalescing stacked allegiances inside elite invitation only organizations across the landscape of nations.

Only the USA is pushing back against these anti-Christ plans and schemes, but I don’t expect us to hold out for much longer. They are desperate to hamstring us in November and they are equally intent to keep their 2030 timeline on schedule.

Perhaps you should contact Mr. O’Connor.

I don’t doubt that opportunists used the event to get Nixon.

However, the idea that the CIA sent people in so that they could be caught does not seem credible to me. Liddy thought that Dean may have orchestrated events to retrieve information damaging to his wife Maureen. I’m hazy on how that could have worked.

Your explanation seems the most credible.

G Gordon Liddy was involved
He was on a radio show years back, and said his group believed the Dims were running a prostitution operation out of the Watergate and were looking for evidence
