Two veteran FBI agents overseeing counterterrorism operations in the nation's capital have been removed from their jobs and reassigned over the handling of an investigation involving Katie Miller, the conservative podcaster and wife of senior White House adviser Stephen Miller, according to two people familiar with the move.
Michael Burgwald, the special agent in charge of counterterrorism matters at the FBI's Washington Field Office, and his deputy, Courtland Rae, were ousted from their positions by bureau leadership after investigators determined that allegedly harassing phone calls Katie Miller received from unknown individuals did not warrant further investigation, the sources said.

What are your conclusions and what do you think about this? Obviously it caught your attention for some reason.
If the agents were pulled it must have been an obvious violation of procedures. Apparently these are senior agents so something smells and those at the top must have seen something.

A family member of Trump’s top team was being harassed — perhaps threatened. The two agents didn’t think it was important.

Yep. I was somewhat puzzled until this parapgraph:
“Burgwald graduated from the United States Military Academy West Point and was the recipient of FBI investigative awards, while Rae similarly rose through the ranks of the organization after a lengthy career in national security, sources said.”
That lengthy career in national security gives it away, for me. CIA deep cover plant? Zelensky deep cover plant? How would anyone in the FBI before 2024 even begin to wonder about a CIA plant? (Using “CIA” to represent the many deep state slime dwellers in DC today, as you point out.)
After Fauci, no long-time DC careerist has any credibilty.

FBI agents saw the harassment of Miller and his wife and thought “meh, nothing new here.”
