AUSTIN, Texas — A man was seriously injured after being shot by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in North Austin on Sunday.

Gaces Perez was treated for a gunshot wound to the torso and taken to a local hospital, Austin-Travis County EMS said Sunday afternoon. Lincoln-Goldfinch, who is representing Garces-Perez and his family, said in a social media post Sunday evening that he was released from the hospital and into ICE custody.

KVUE received the following statement Sunday night from a Texas Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson:
"Homeland Security Investigations, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is leading the investigation into the officer involved shooting of an illegal alien from Venezuela, who illegally entered our country under the Biden administration and had a final order of removal, during a law enforcement operation today in Austin, TX.
The illegal alien’s condition is stable, and he is in federal custody pending removal.
This is a developing situation, and we will update the public when more information becomes available."

North Austin is a wide area. I did see a HWY 183 sign, so that narrows it down, but I lived off of Burnett and 183 in the 1980s. Great place then, now it seems as though it is the Barrio. No Thank you!

I saw a court case where a woman was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt. I don't remember the reason, but the officer told her to get out of the car. At first, she just resisted, then she attacked the officer. She ended up in FELONY court for her actions.
And the usually Dumbocraps jump to the conclusion that ICE is illegal not the criminal alien.
