NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani hosted lefty leaders from across the globe on Saturday to kick off a three-day summit pushing progressive agenda items like dealing with climate change.
Mamdani delivered opening remarks at the Urban 20 Summit in New York City, where he and other mayors discussed “practical solutions” to address “rising housing costs, the climate crisis and migration,” according to a propaganda press statement released by the socialist mayor’s media team.
Details of the summit were scarce and released Soviet-style.
Most of Saturday’s activities were closed to the press. Only select media – which did not include The Post – were allowed to attend the mayor’s opening remarks, and the location was not disclosed.
The mayor’s schedule noted he planned to visit an undisclosed wastewater treatment plant with Helsinki Mayor Daniel Sazanov, Barcelona Mayor Jaume Collboni and Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, with approved footage to be made available later in the day.
It also noted he planned to meet privately at undisclosed sites with Collboni and Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema.

Green Party mayor Femke Halsema, who was photographed at a protest without a mask, has been accused of “spitting on” residents over her handling of the mass demonstration.
A protest march in Amsterdam took place on Monday, with residents coming out in sympathy with Black Lives Matter protests in the United States and organisers saying they also wanted to bring attention to racism in Europe, as well.

The son of Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema will not be prosecuted for the illegal possession of a weapon, the boy’s lawyer has told Dutch media.
The 15-year-old was picked up by police this summer after neighbours reported he and a friend were vandalising an abandoned houseboat. He threw the gun, which later turned out to belong to his father Robert Oey away when he ran off.
He will probably be referred to HALT, a police facility for first offenders, and be sentenced to a period of community service, the lawyer said.
The public prosecution service has not confirmed the measure in connection with the boy’s privacy.…
