The Department of General Services (DGS) has been directed to remove all three Confederate monuments and memorials from Capitol Square on Friday, Aug. 28, including one of Confederate General Stonewall Jackson, one of Gov. William “Extra Billy” Smith, a former Confederate general and another of Confederate Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire.

Confederate monuments and memorials are there like Auschwitz-Birkenau and Dachau are left. These are history which proves what happened! Removing them wipes out history. With Confederate monuments and memorials removal they are removing history. Soon people will say what Civil War, what Slavery? If these events happened where are the Confederate monuments and memorials which prove the events! Way to go libs, you just denied history!

The Dems learned a lesson with Virginia and Spanberger, run squeaky-clean-appearing Veterans as [ha ha] moderates (even fake indies and Losertarians), then start the leftie purge of traditional values immediately after the election.

Visited Richmond for the history, including the statues that were on Monument Ave, now there is no more reason to visit a dangerous city.
However, one thing that the Democrat Governor and legislature fail to admit; The Confederacy was run and controlled by Democrats.
The governor and crew are just trying to erase their own history. It's a standard Marxist trick; to erase what has been in order to raise up what will be (sounds a little Michelle Obamaesque).

I was in Memphis a few years ago for a family reunion - we drove around the city on a tour - went past a park where it looked like some construction was going on - turns out the city was digging up the remains of Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife - the statue was already gone by then, we could see where it was.
We thought it was an absolute abomination.
Commies wish to create a “New Man” and New Nation - no history or heritage to cling to, i.e., “year one,” a-religious (the state is religion), beholden only to the state - in this day and age, sexless as well.
Didn’t work out so well for the old Soviet Commies - the entire system worked against human nature (hence the tens of millions liquidated during the Soviet Union) - until the entire pack of lies imploded in on itself (thankfully) and things started to right themselves again.
