“ In his July 31, 2026 Friday sermon at the Muslim Youth Victoria Islamic center in British Columbia, Canadian Islamic scholar Younus Kathrada said that Palestine is Muslim land and that no "infidel," which he clarified to mean a non-Muslim, can rule it. He said the land cannot be governed by democracy or any other non-Muslim "infidel" laws, but only according to sharia. Kathrada dismissed Jewish claims that Allah promised them the Holy Land as "absolutely baseless," saying instead that Allah designated the land for Muslims for all time.
Kathrada said it is the Muslims' duty to expel Jews from Palestine because it is Islamic land belonging to Muslims. He called those currently occupying the land the "true terrorists" and supplicated to Allah to grant victory to the mujahideen everywhere over their enemies, as well as to give Muslims the joy of seeing the Al-Aqsa Mosque restored to Islam and the Muslims. He also asked Allah to destroy the "plundering and occupying Jews," along with the "infidels and hypocrites who help them."

Just as the Christian Kingdoms set up after the Crusades were captured by Saladin so too the Jewish State will fall to an Islamic leader. We can only hope he will be as enlightened as Saladin. It is only a question of time. It could be that the whole of the Jewish population will need to be evacuated to Europe or the United States. The numbers just tell the story—their are too few Jews and too many Islamic people. It may take another 100 years, but this will be so.
