A federal appeals court cleared the way for the Trump administration to deport thousands of illegal aliens.
A three-judge panel for the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit on Tuesday lifted a lower court order striking down the administration's deportation directives, which instruct officers to consider expedited removal for certain migrants who came to the US under the Biden-error.

I was surprised as well.
The D.C. Circuit doesn’t want to be slapped down by SCOTUS again. They may not like Trump, but the SCOTUS was very clear.
Last I read the government is buying the Sirit Airlines fleet for the purpose of flying aliens out of the US. The government wanted its own planes rather than deal with airlines which apparently don’t want the business. I’d imagine you can’t send a screaming, angry alien back to whatever hell hole he fled and have him behave politely to the other passengers. Also, there might be an awful lot of cell phone footage of aliens getting manhandled on account of there’s no other way to get them into the plane. Far better to take them to a private hanger and put them on a government plane.
And if you fly them out of an air force base you can limit who can get onto the property and keep the press and Antifa away as well.
To be fair, on the issue of “deport or not deport”, load up the planes and drop them off exactly halfway back to the s_hole of origin...
Split the difference; what could be fairer?
