Epic Fail: NYC Mayor Mamdani Finally Makes Humiliating Admission About His Threat to Arrest Netanyahu
Red State ^ | 07/21/2026 | Nick Arama

Posted on 07/21/2026 8:40:21 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani floated the ridiculous idea of trying to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he came to the U.S. in September for a United Nations meeting.

His little theatre kid performance for his anti-Israel base was smacked down with reality from the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Mike Waltz, President Donald Trump, and even CNN legal analyst Elie Honig. Mamdani was told he had no legal ability to do any such thing and that, in the words of Trump, "no way, no how" was it happening.

Mamdani was finally forced to concede that he didn't have the power, which had to be embarrassing to him. He's been acting like he has all this power - only to find out how limited he truly is.

He attacks Netanyahu in this clip posted Tuesday night, accusing him of being a "war criminal," calling him the "architect of a horrific genocide." But Mamdani is really fuming that this incident has exposed his empty promise on this and his impotence.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. pic.twitter.com/YRezmW6YVx— Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani (@NYCMayor) July 22, 2026

Sitting behind a desk to look presidential doesn't make him the president. While he acknowledges he doesn't have the power, he calls upon the federal government to arrest Netanyahu in accordance with the International Criminal Court warrant. He also says Netanyahu isn't welcome in New York City.

Yes, we knew you didn't have the power; thanks for finally catching up to reality.

So it's pretty funny, actually, that despite what Mamdani said before and what he promised his foolish base, he has to concede.

I don’t understand, so you lied when you were campaigning and said “as mayor of NYC I would arrest Netanyahu” @EndWokeness pic.twitter.com/DEQqk1alIo— Open Source Intel (@Osint613) July 22, 2026

So much for that.

But he does have a concerning part where he talks about how "we can examine every tool we have to defend the humanity and dignity of all people." What is he calling for there at the end of his latest remarks?

Israel's Ambassador to the U.N., Danny Danon, blasted him, calling out the Mamdani administration's attempt to meet with the Iranian regime and saying he should concentrate on what he was elected to do, not serve up Hamas propaganda.

Zohran Mamdani, ENOUGH.

Enough with the blood libels.

Enough with the attacks on Jewish organizations.

Enough with the outreach to the Iranian regime.

You were elected to serve New Yorkers, not Hamas’ propaganda.

Do your job! https://t.co/iegtu8u2Gj— Danny Danon 🇮🇱 דני דנון (@dannydanon) July 22, 2026

Mamdani is a mayor; none of this is his purview, even if the claim of "genocide" was true, which it is not. We pointed out how New York Times columnist Bret Stephens obliterated this leftist claim of "genocide."

So much for focusing on New Yorkers.

Ya know the article from today about the guy who claims his writing job was displace by AI?

I think a large segment of ‘journalists’ have been replaced by AI but still using their by-lines.

Increasingly headlines feature ‘shocking’ and ‘humiliated’ and ‘cringe’ as if deadly serious politics was junior high school locker banter — and the text doesn’t get better.

I’ve changed my mind in the course of writing this. Maybe the current crop of writers really have that shallow a perspective, and merely should be replaced by AI.

You’re posting in the wrong thread my friend.

Seems like Mamdani is the sitting President of the PLO/HAMAS/ISLAMIC JIHAD/ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD/Al-Qaida/Hezbollah and a myriad of other murderers from Islam rather than being the Mayor of New York.
His backers are the Qataris and Muslim Brotherhood. What is his real function? Paving the way for Socialist-Islamic domination.

He’s a plant. An operative. an enemy combatant and so is his Hamas loving wife.
He should be arrested and charged with treason along with others who are advocating the destruction of America.

Someone may have politely informed Mamdani that if he carried through on his threat, he would be arrested, jailed and prosecuted for an unlawful attack on a foreign diplomat.

These articles of surprise are pointless: his voters are as stupid and as anti-American as he is. They aren’t suddenly going to ‘see the light’. What Mamdani says or said might be news to you but doesn’t matter to his voters.

That isn't an indication of the article having been written by an A.I.

Rather, that is a hoary old journalistic trick to get people to click on a link / read the article.

Simple psychology!

After all: Which YouTube video would you more likely click on?

"See moment where petulant leftwing college student gets 'owned' by intellectually superior Dr. Jordan Peterson and then realize in horror that she has been the victim of Marxist propaganda her whole life"
or:
"See leftwing college student attempt to debate Jordan Peterson and totally fail to mount logical argument, then stamp foot and announce huffily that she knows that she's still right"
Regards,

His lawyer told him he’d go to prison if he tried to enforce a nonexistent crime on a person with diplomatic immunity.

About 10 federal statutes.

Maybe so, but our enemies don’t need to “plant” anyone. We are fully capable of torpedoing America all by ourselves.

If your target audience is people whose mental development stopped at age 12 then those are great lead-ins.

He was trolling.

If he really intended to try, he'd keep quiet beforehand.

Watching him spout off is like watching one of those yippy little Chihuahuas confronting a Great Dane. Delusions of grandeur. “Put ‘em uuup! Put ‘em uuup!”

Threatening a Foreign Leader/diplomat is a Federal crime. Arrest Mandami now. He’s an Iranian 12er same as the IRGC.
