Mamdani and his DSA comrades have one goal — a communist revolution in America

Our preening mayor, Zohran Mamdani, says his administration’s legal department is examining how best to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu if the Israeli prime minister visits New York for UN week in September.

“He’s a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court,” Mamdani told The New York Times in an interview published over the weekend.

Well, Marco Rubio has thoughts on that and much more.

The formidable secretary of state last week announced a campaign to “dismantle the ICC — brick by brick, if necessary.”

“The ICC’s interfering with American military and law enforcement operations . . . would mean the death of the US as a sovereign and independent nation,” he said.

“But this is America . . . Independence is our birthright. We don’t intend to trade it for rule by a self-appointed priesthood of ‘international law.’ ”

Mamdani’s belief that, as a minor municipal functionary, he wields some imaginary international power to subvert American sovereignty just shows the delusions of his ideology.

His authority extends to fixing potholes and collecting garbage, neither of which he does competently.

DSA’s real aim

But his delusions of grandeur are shared by the misfits, ignoramuses, and foreign interlopers who make up his rancid branch of the Democratic Party — the DSA.

The Democratic Socialists of America know nothing, have built nothing and don’t understand the country they live in, yet they imagine they have the moral authority to tear it down.

Their aim is to import foreign conflicts and alien ideologies that are the antithesis of America’s founding principles.

The DSA’s intellectual buffoonery was on full display last week when Mamdani’s party capo, Peruvian-born Gustavo Gordillo, told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum that his family was forced to come to America because of “capitalism and American imperialism,” despite having left Peru during the Maoist...

Hey Mamdani, if you want an islamist/communist revolution in the USA then you are guilty of sedition and treason.

Since neither NYS nor NYC can print money, Hochul and Mamdani can only do this with the help of Congress.

Well, Congress, your move.

Did anyone notice that in Mamdani's social media post today he stated that NY'ers should be safe in "their city" instead of being safe in "OUR city" ???

Speaks volumes.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that neo-marxists and their representatives have the most power in the cities that are nearly dependent high property taxes, state transfers, and especially, the power of Federal handouts, printed money and massive debt spending.

ie) Massive monetary debasement contributes to marxist-totalitarian thinking.

Yes, he is. But so is Kathy Housel, running for governor. She won’t say she’s DSA (socialist/communist), but there is no daylight between her and Mamdani. If Bruce Blakeman, who is running for governor as a Republican, doesn’t start pointing this out and calling her a Mamdani clone and convincing voters she is DSA, he won’t win. She’s a DSA radical wearing moderate Democrat clothes, and he needs to make that clear in every ad criticizing her. Always show her and Mamdani side by side in every ad.

Correct about the DSA, Mamdani is a tool not a revolutionary.

The questions for you and everyone else here are, “Yes, a communist revolution is being prepared and is to a degree underway. What do you want to be done? Is the smaller, weaker government you are wishing for equal to the task? Did a constitutional Republic work for Weimar Germany in ending the KPD + Roterfront alliance which is so similar to DSA + Antifa? If not, what did eventually shut them down?”

Maybe they do, but it would go nowhere if a good chunk of American voters weren’t receptive to it. Socialism did not sneak up on America over the past year or two. American voters have been conditioned to accept it ever since the 1930s - for almost 100 years. The massive system of transfer payments set up by the Welfare State is what started it. Johnson’s Great Society gave it another huge boost. Obamacare pushed it along too. But Republicans like Bush helped it along with TARP and “Compassionate Conservatism.” The DSA is simply taking the mask off. We have been calling ourselves Capitalists while operating as Socialists for a long time now.

I’ve been reading Antony Beevor’s excellent book “Russia: Revolution and Civil War, 1917 - 1921” and something really jumped out at me.

In the beginning, there really were not a lot of Bolsheviks — but they were fanatics. They would just grab people off the street for being bourgeois. Walking in public while wearing eyeglasses could get you picked up. And the Bolsheviks would just shoot people — because who was going to stop them?

Meanwhile, Russia society — which was fairly polite, and sophisticated and High Trust — just tried to keep their heads down and wish all the bad things away. This was not a good solution.

I would say this: if there is anything like a Russian Revolution in the United States, the big lesson to take to heart is that if you can possibly identify a “problem person” on the Left, you need to take immediate, remorseless action before they do. Because they will. And if you get all law-and-order, polite, and concerned with due process, then you are going to be the one who gets a bullet in the brain. You hesitated. They will not.

Solzhenitsyn would tell you that this is good advice.

Mamdani needs to look at what happened in Argentina when they removed rent controls. According to an old WSJ article, rents fell by 40% and the supply of rentable units increased by 170%. There’s a lesson there for Leftists who are capable of learning.

Hochul isn't a DSA. She's from a very conservative town near Buffalo. While she was there, she was a defender of gun rights. Even won an award from the NRA

But she IS a New York politician and otherwise has no moral compass. Her rise to the top was nearly dumb luck - Andrew Cuomo wanted an upstate politician to "balance his ticket." With Cuomo's "me too" sex scandals (I suspect the Obama's wanted him gone), she became Governor. Now it's about survival for her.

Since then, she's been towing-the-line of downstate leftists, trying to keep her career afloat.

And by the time the "white" forces rallied around Alexander Kolchak, it was far too late

As a nation, we refuse to severely limit the power of Federal Government, 100 years of creeping progressivism and leftist social-engineering, and Government's massive debt spending on entitlements and bloat, which ensures no real choices will be made to limit the power of government and the DC deep state. It's also the perfect soil for statist/marxist weeds.

A such, I've felt the USA may be heading for such a "time of choosing" - Franco vs. Caballero, Pinochet vs. Allende, etc...

There weren't that many Bolsheviks but they were extremely motivated and well-organized.
