A photographer in Boston, Massachusetts, got a sneak peak of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular drone show during a rehearsal on Friday, July 3.
Boston-based photographer @betterfoodbetterphoto was on the Charles River Esplanade when he captured footage of drones making the shape of a man holding a musket.
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular took place on Saturday evening and saw a revolutionary-themed drone show during a performance of the 1812 Overture and a fireworks display choreographed to music by the orchestra.
According to reports, Massachusetts State Police evacuated viewing areas around the Charles River Esplanade ahead of the show because of a storm. The evacuation was ordered just before 6.30 pm and lasted for almost 40 minutes, reports said.

Guns, anti-tax, liberty….It looks like a MAGA Republican put this together…and in BOSTON!

Oh my...Patriots know how to party.
I caught the broadcast on CNN.
I know MA is a Dem stronghold - every county went for Hillary, Biden*, and Harris. Boston is the Tammany Hall of New England. Ed Markey is possibly the least-effective senator ever (I can’t name in thing this guy ever did), Warren is a fraud. Every MA Congresscritter is a Dem.
How the heck did such a patriotic, borderline Republican display get through the censors?
And for what it’s worth, it was very cool.

This is all true. I have heard that in Concord, people didn't even want them to carry or fire muskets. What a bunch of retards. That was some years back, though, so that might have changed.
I admit that I am old school. The drone stuff is interesting to watch, but as a guy, I am into pyrotechnics, loud noises, and exploding things. I had to go look to be sure, so this drone stuff was in addition.
I went into Boston once years ago and we got a spot on the grass in front of the Hatch Shell, so...I can say I did it once.
I did like when the Army was shooting off its 105 mm artillery in the traditional playing of the “War of 1812”, and I assume they still do that.
I went in 1976...the Bicentennial, and several times afterward.
1976 was wonderful. The following years were also good, but the 1976 concert was the First Big One in Boston...Not counting the 1776 event. :-)
