I’m not a lawyer, and I’ve never played one on TV, so I won’t opine on the legal aspects of this story. However, I can give you my layman’s view, which is that this certainly smells rotten.
To wit, a taxpayer-funded water park is holding a big party on June 1, and they’re going to have food, entertainment, and just good ole American fun. The catch: if you’re not Muslim, you’re not invited. No really.

Grand Prairie, TX has an indoor water park called Epic Waters (no relation to EPIC city).
It is owned by the city & now has a MUSLIM ONLY event on June 1st, with halal food, and a private prayer area.
The event is closed to the public- Muslims only.

Although critics of the above post by conservative commentator Sara Gonzales accuse her of doctoring the above flyer, she denies it:

Organizers reportedly quietly changed their messaging as word got out about their plans:
After the backlash, the organizer of the event, Aminah Knight, told The Post that she is backtracking on how she is advertising it — “to make it clearer that this is a modest dress-only event centered around celebrating Eid.”
The Daily Mail is also reporting on the existence of flyers that said “Muslims only”:
Posters for the event say it will be 'for Muslims only' to create a 'family-friendly environment', with tickets starting at $55 each.
The waterpark's website notes that men and women will not be separated during the event, but attendees are told to 'uphold Islamic etiquette' by 'lowering the gaze' throughout the day.
'Please follow the event’s modest dress code, and practice ḥayāʾ (modesty) through respectful behavior,' the event says.
All attendees are 'expected to dress in accordance with Islamic values', and the waterpark says all swimwear must meet Muslim guidelines.
I’ll “lower my gaze” the day the United States is overthrown, but unless and until that happens, you can kiss my backside. Meanwhile, I'm far from the only one questioning the festivities:
The event was criticized across social media, with many questioning if a taxpayer-funded space is allowed to exclude certain demographics from its events.
Conservative commentator and radio host Dana Loesch led the backlash, questioning: 'How is a taxpayer-funded, city-owned entity allowed to discriminate against non-Muslims at a public water park?'
Epic Waters is funded by a sales tax on Grand Prairie residents, while the party is being sponsored by the East Plano Islamic Center. They have suggestions on their website for appropriate swimwear:
'Explore our recommendations and get ready to make a stylish - and modest - splash!' the website says.
The suggested swimwear included full head-to-toe coverings with bathing suit material, alongside full body coverings for children.
When hell freezes over, maybe. Imagine the outrage if a taxpayer-funded public entity were the site of a Christian-only day? CNN, The New York Times, and the rest of the lying mainstream media would be on fire right now.
We’ll just have to see if the DOJ comes a-callin' on Epic Waters.

Well it is probably a good way to get them to take a bath and not having civilized American’s forced to swim in their dirty bath water.

Is a private organization renting the park from the city at a time the public would not ordinarily have access?
Muslims only? How was that going to work? Show your “Islam ID Card” at the ticket booth? Show up with a Koran in hand? Just say your are Muslim? A WASP family should how up and say they are Muslim/in the “Brotherhood” and see if they get in.

Which would you prefer to take your kids: A Muslim friendly day, where women are covered and men are family oriented and polite, or a Gay Day, where your kids can meet furries and drag queens?
You know, good Christians have more in common with the average Muslim in the USA when it comes to moral living. The recent influx of crazies etc. does not mean all Muslims are like this.
I think a church or a corporation could offer to rent out this water park for one day. I know this has been done with privately owned amusement parks.
Perhaps these Texas muzz did not make such an offer or wanted to cheap out. That this event was a joint venture between muzz and city libby do gooders.
