Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has promised that the US will not remain in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a written message, Khamenei wrote, "Today, two months after the beginning of the campaign of aggression by global bullies in the region and America’s disgraceful failure, a new chapter is beginning in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz."
"Iran, through its management of Hormuz, will ensure the security of the Gulf region and eliminate the possibility of exploitation by enemies. The new laws and management of the Strait will bring stability and prosperity to all the peoples of the region," Khamenei added in his message to the Iranian people.
Mohsen Rezaee, an adviser to Mojtaba Khamenei, tweeted, "The siege scenario will fail and Iran will never lose the Strait of Hormuz."
"History will record that the Iranian nation drowned the superpower of the USA in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman....

That's the language of someone about to cut a deal. Trump's endgame appears to be having both sides with the option of a Hormuz closure option as leverage over China
And who wrote that speech for him?
Whoever writes the messages for the Gayatollah is talented, but the Gayatollah is dead.
At this point, what difference does it make. He’s probably dead anyway.
I don’t know where the Iranians think “prosperity” will come from. They are out of storage capacity & if they have to shut down oil wells, those wells will be damaged & never as productive or even productive in the future. No oil, no $$ & Bessent has cut them off financially outside of oil. They’re between a rock & a hard place. Reasonable people would cut a deal, but these fanatics will ‘suicide’ their country not to give in to Trump.
Just whack every single one of these ***holes.
L
Drop more bombs on these criminal fanatic losers.
And the Gulf Cooperation Council says: OK, in that case, we'll continue to support the USA and Israel war on the IRGC
I thought he died?

Even better without islam
Copilot [Worldometer]
“Iran’s oil production in 2024 was about 4.63 million b/d”
“Iran’s oil consumption in 2024 was about 1,953,251 barrels per day b/d”
The Iranian government is still getting oil revenue from nearly half its normal oil production. If Iran charges market prices for oil domestically, Iran’s wholesale oil revenue would be down about 30%. Iran’s taxes and profits on domestic retail fuel sales would be unchanged or increased.
The Iranians only have slow oil extraction by somewhat more than half.
The idea that Iran will be forced to deal because its oil industry will suffer greatly is absurd.
The War Powers Resolution will require Trump to pull the military out of the Gulf, including every US minesweeper.
Iran doesn’t know where it placed its mines and US law will require the US military to stop searching very soon.
Insurance companies will refuse coverage for mine damage, which will probably make the Gulf unnavigable for tankers.
Oil will be in short supply and the price high for years, unless Congress gives Trump and the US military more time.
Did he “say” that using sign language?
Their money from internal oil consumption is worthless. If they can’t sell oil outside Iran, they have very little if any time left to keep any oil production at all. Knock out their power, even for one week, and they won’t be able to restore their production for years. It’s game over.
Gay cardboard mooluh?
According to folks like MSMEOW, we’ve only maybe tied with superior Iranian forces in this illegal war of choice. You know, so PDJT’s defense buddies can get rich. Pretty sure the irgc has killed more Iranian civilians than the U.S. since the start of this. For the most part the civvies are weaponless. No 2nd amendment for you!
The Iranians are counting on the limitations imposed by the 1973 War Powers Act. We will see if establishment Republicans in Congress will stand with President Trump, or turn tail and run away from their responsibility to future Americans.
