We could gain over a DOZEN HOUSE SEATS depending how much SCOTUS weakens Section 2 of the VRA — if they indeed do this.
Nothing is final yet, but if and when it is, that's a JAW-DROPPING DEFEAT for the Left!
It's unclear EXACTLY how many the GOP could pick up for the 2026 midterms. FLORIDA convenes soon, but it depends on when this drops.

Not like it’ll matter. With all the RINOs we have it seems Congress does nothing of substance and never passes anything that makes an impact.
setting any district aside for a particular race should 100% be unconstitutional.

The Chief Justice, you know, the same one that scolds politicians not to criticize the judiciary or speak on the political biases of judges, could impose his deadline for their dissent so as to avoid the appearance of political gamesmanship on their dissent timing.
But the would require Roberts to have integrity, which we know he does not.
Alito just cannot leave this group of Justices!
I believe Virginia comes under tight Voting Rights Act scrutiny.
