George Washington University estimates that students returning to campus will pay close to $100,000 in total costs this upcoming school year alone.

All undergraduate students attending George Washington University (GW) for the 2026–27 academic year will pay $72,000 in tuition, a 3% increase from the previous year, the Washington, D.C.-based school announced in a Friday press release. But their grand degrees after dumping $400,000-$600,000 will earn them $1,000,000 in two years after college as a gender studies social worker or a Mindfullness PhD.

And the fools will bite the hook. Proof most college students aren’t very smart to begin with and College Tuition Certificates aren’t much help.

Insane, at this point they are nothing more than a money laundering scam for lib indoctrination.

Outside of influence pedaling using pedigree for job placement what value is left in these “elite” schools. It sure isn’t education.

At this point, I think society does a huge disservice to young people to encourage “college for all”.

If you want to be a doctor, or an engineer — fine. But companies ought to offer On The Job training. Get the kids before they are fully woke and indoctrinated. Get them before they have six-figure college loan debt. It’s better for everyone.

Government should offer big tax breaks for companies that offer OJT. And we need to cancel H1-Bs entirely.

If I were an employer, I’d never hire someone with such bad judgement that they’d pay $400k for an undergraduate degree.

Both my sons learned a trade. Both making good money. Both are in mid to late twenties. Best decision they made was to NOT go to college.

It drives me crazy when the DemoMarxists shriek about forgiving student debt at the cost of taxpayers, but they will never ever talk about the price gouging that goes on with tuition

**And the fools will bite the hook.**

Chicoms will pay it and they aren’t fools. It’s capitalism selling a rope to the buyer who wants to hang them.

Six figures is cheap for a skool of GWU’s (aka Gawdawful Woke U.) caliber!

Be sure to acquire a marketable degree like Blakk Transgender Studies. And learn to say “Want Fries?” in eight languages.

And those folks should consider starting at an inexpensive community college. I would argue that, say, freshman chemistry course at a community college is as good (or even better) than one at a fancy university.

The community college chemistry professor teaches. That’s all he does. The university professor is probably more interested in his own research. He teaches only because he has to.

Tuition is extortion to allow you into the club. It has nothing to do with teaching you anything.

Yeah, always good to give an unsecured loan to an 18 year old who doesn’t understand how the real world works: i.e., you will “graduate” and start your working life already $400k in debate - and good luck even finding a job.

My daughter’s friend is a first year resident making around $75k/year. She is $500k in debt for medical school expenses. Even with an eventual doctor’s salary - how do you get out from under that?
