A group of Redwood High School’s ASB students in Visalia are under investigation for a “homophobic slur” photo incident on Thursday on school campus. LGBTQ advocates condemn those actions. “Let’s be clear: this is not a harmless joke,” said The Source LGBT+ Center in Visalia in a statement Friday afternoon in response to the incident. “Incidents like this reinforce stigma, normalize hate and send a painful message to LGBTW+ students.”

We had a guy do a “Jimmah” Carter impersonation at an assembly at my HS once. As part of the speech he said he would solve the black unemployment problem by reinstating slavery. As he left he threw peanuts into the audience and went out the door to a car waiting to spirit him away.
Everyone thought it was hilarious, except the HS administrators.
Homophobic? Phobia = fear.

I have to laugh at how the many have allowed themselves to have to put up with the shenanigans of the few. Can you imagine the success if the many,for at least 2 weeks in a row, simply had a coordinated effort to shame the few daily 24/7?

An ASB (Associated Student Body) student at Redwood High School is an elected or appointed student leader responsible for representing the student body, planning school events (like Prom, rallies, and fundraisers), and promoting school spirit.
I use the term homo-nauseous to describe how I feel about the deviants.
