Democrats scored a stunning upset on Saturday in a special election runoff for Texas Senate, according to a projection from Decision HQ, giving the party a major boost ahead of the November midterms.
Fort Worth Democrat Taylor Rehmet, a machinist and Air Force veteran, defeated Southlake Republican Leigh Wambsganss to fill the vacant state Senate District 9.
The district favored President Trump--who endorsed Wambsganss earlier on Saturday--by 17 points in 2024...

Another stolen friggin seat. The Goobers need to learn how to start having their own “special elections” and stealing these seats back. Allowing the far left azhos to have another election anytime they need a seat is not really the way the founding fathers wanted this joint to work.
The Texas GOP hasn't exactly been covering itself with glory lately, either, by acting as the Uniparty and giving undeserved chairmanships and legislative control to key Democrats.

Midterm shellacking coming.
Many questions to ask here the old folks vote I sure do but we die off.
Young voters fascinate me but I haven’t done the research to be honest.
My son is hostile to Trump maybe I need to talk to my son more.

The county not the district in question Trump won it by 17 percentage points in 2024 Democrat won it by 14 tonight.
However many millions it cost it was a Democrat victory. They don’t count the cost because they have many ultra rich supporters and (this is speculation on my part) they have an indirect pipeline to virtually unlimited taxpayer funds via grants given to NGOs who the kick back to the Democrat party - everyone happy except the taxpayers and anyone who wants to compete against the Democrat machine.
But MTG is a traitor and all kinds of other stuff.
