A Democratic Socialists of America member vying to be Los Angeles’ own Zohran Mamdani went off the rails on live radio — lashing out at a reporter while bungling basic questions, including getting her own age wrong.
The tense clash erupted during a sit-down with KNX News when mayoral hopeful Rae Huang tangled with veteran City Hall reporter Craig Fiegener — growing increasingly frustrated as he pressed her on key issues such as taxes and policing, according to audio of the exchange obtained by The Post.
The fireworks started almost immediately, as Huang hyped the “Overpaid CEO Tax” — a proposed ballot measure to dramatically hike taxes on top-earning business executives — saying the money would be routed into housing.
“We will be benefiting off of these CEO taxes,” Huang said. “We need to make sure that this money, from our CEOs, our billionaires, goes into housing, which we desperately need here in Los Angeles.”
Fiegener pressed for specifics. “How are you going to do it?” he asked. “It’s not cheap — where is our money going right now?”
“Our money is going into band-aid solutions,” Huang replied.
Asked to name those solutions, Huang pointed at law enforcement.
“One of them is, for example, the police,” she said. “The LAPD just doubled their staff without the city allow — without the city approval.”
Fiegener corrected her, noting the Los Angeles Police Department has not doubled in size.
City leaders are currently debating whether to fund roughly 240 additional officers — and even that proposal remains uncertain.
But Huang didn’t retreat.
She accused the department of “going rogue” and claimed there was “no accountability” in local government — despite acknowledging moments earlier that authority at City Hall was divided among the mayor, City Council, controller and city attorney.

How do we get these people?
Absolutely no education in economics. Taxing the rich will make the flee, eventually y ou will have to lower the threshold.
Get ready for more of these public meltdowns as the generation of coddled, young, Woke, self-righteous politicians comes of age to take over. None have had to debate their positions or respond to hard questions.

The further off the rails she goes the greater her chances of getting elected. The voters in some of our largest cities obviously support buffoonery, lying, hypocrisy, and a lack of experience/qualifications for the job. Its as if competence and integrity are viewed as negatives.

You’re not allowed to criticize the commissars. Instead, you must praise them for their insight. I think Karl Marx first said that. Or maybe it was Barack Obama.
Normally, a taxing authority can get away with more if it is impractical or impossible to move the revenue generating asset (e.g. mining, skyscraper, fishing, oil drilling). The fact that California has managed to make existing oil refining so difficult that the refiners shut down shows how crazy they are.

Why not propose a massive tax on all those pro athletes in California that make millions of dollars? How would that fly?
Competence and integrity are seen as "acting white". And, you know, nobody wants that.

Perhaps we mere peons are not supposed to question these socialist types, on how they plan to do things if elected?
Very true. However these lowlifes are managing to get elected and find that they are being held unaccountable by most of the media and the uneducated simplistic people who elected them. The mismanagement and fraud becomes embedded. Federal law enforcement and the parsing of Federal funding is the only real obstacle they face. If the Democrats retake Congress the decay will turn into real rot.
As I’ve already said, the Democrat Party is a party of women and men who want to be women.
Why would they ask a commie anything? We already know...
