Police have charged a truck driver from the Hamilton area in a hit-and-run crash that killed a tow truck operator who had been stopped while helping a driver on the side of Highway 401 outside Woodstock, Ont.
The arrest comes after a nearly three week-long search that saw Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigators appeal to the public for help in identifying the suspect vehicle.
On Monday, police said 32-year-old Sandeep Singh of Mount Hope, Ont., has been charged with dangerous operation causing death and failure to stop after an accident causing death.
Police initially reported the Dec. 3 crash had closed the westbound lanes of Highway 401, near Oxford Road 3, in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim during the morning commute.
They said the tow truck operator, a 42-year-old man from Kitchener, was hit by a blue commercial tractor trailer while helping a stranded motorist, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

I watch Pepe’s Towing Service videos on YouTube. The blogger often speaks of a Wall of Shame (or similar name) where tower’s names are posted that have died after being killed by reckless drivers on freeways. There are hundreds of names of the killed towers. A shame that many drivers are careless and crash into vehicles on the shoulder of a road.
Take away his CDL license which he probably obtained fraudulently and send him back to whatever hell hole he came from.

I will bet you that there are THOUSANDS of Indian people who are killed daily, left to die or injured to the point of no return to any normalcy and it is just a way of life to Indian citizens. I am sure everyone who is involved in these crimes walks Scott free with NO fear of repercussions.

The truck “driving” videos are just classic. There was one from Vancouver where was stalled or whatever semi on the rail tracks. Guys are yelling at him to get out. He does, then goes back into the cab and train hits and killed.
