Make. It. Make. Sense. 🙄
NYS fines Hyundai & Kia $9 million for failure to stop criminals from stealing their cars. It’s like fining Macys for selling clothes from a rack rather than locked cabinets.
I know a non-profit fraud case here that was reported by multiple people to Big Tish involving millions & you know what she did?
NOTHING.

I can't stand seeing her fugly face.
While NYS lets criminals RUN WILD
10 to 15 millions illegals let in country….. Crickets….
8 billion stolen in Minnesota…… Crickets……
Bee better up its game.
Hyundai and Kua should stop selling cars in NY.
They will appeal. I would be surprised if N.Y. sees one dime. This is absolutely ridiculous. How about cracking down on crime? Jeez, if I’m selling pizza on a sidewalk joint and someone steals a pie should I get fined? It is so easy to steal a vehicle, all you have to do is wait for the owner to start it, then point a gun at the driver. It happens every day.
Yep. Murderers get “appearance tickets” here in NY. Upstate as well as downstate.
Good idea. Reverse boycott.

Truck of Doom makes regular appearances in Korean TV programs.
NY State sued by residents and visitors for $670 Million in losses. Case claims NYS failed to provide semi-effective crime prevention via police action/presence and judges who release habitual criminals time after time.
Politicians’ and Judges’ wages to be garnished to pay restitution to victims.
That’s the story I’d like to see.
They don’t change, do they. They still blame the gun for those innocent people who get shot during the commission of a crime.

Recent Development (as of December 2025)
Just yesterday (December 16, 2025), a bipartisan coalition of 35 state attorneys general (including Pennsylvania) announced a multistate settlement with Hyundai and Kia.This resolves investigations into the lack of anti-theft technology, separate from ongoing city lawsuits and prior class-action settlements for individual owners.Key terms of the settlement:Free hardware upgrade: A zinc-reinforced sleeve for the ignition cylinder to prevent tampering (available starting early 2026–2027; owners get 1 year from notification to install at a dealership).
All future U.S.-sold vehicles must include engine immobilizers.
Up to $4.5 million in restitution for consumers with theft-damaged vehicles.
$4.5 million payment to states for investigation costs.
Owners of affected models should watch for notifications from Hyundai/Kia and schedule the free fix.Illustrations from the viral TikTok challenge showing the simple USB/screwdriver theft method.Examples of damaged Hyundai/Kia vehicles recovered after thefts.Images related to the new anti-theft fixes, including ignition reinforcements under the settlement.Philadelphia’s specific city lawsuit may continue separately, but the statewide settlement (via Pennsylvania’s AG) addresses many of the same concerns for residents. If you own an affected vehicle, check eligibility at official Hyundai/Kia sites or contact a dealer.
She apparently never saw the smashed windows...car after car after car.
Does the money supposedly go to Hyundai and Kia owners who had their cars stolen in NY?
All future U.S.-sold vehicles must include engine immobilizers.
With the left, the cause is never the cause.
Those cars were recalled and that bug was fixed years ago.
What a strategy for extortion. Why is it allowed?
