US Suspends Technology Deal With Britain, FT Reports
Reuters ^ | December 15, 2025

The United States has suspended a technology deal it struck with Britain earlier this year, which was ‌intended to boost ties in artificial intelligence, quantum computing ‌and civil nuclear energy, the Financial Times reported on Monday.

British officials on Monday confirmed the U.S. suspended the deal last week, the FT said, adding ‌that U.S. President Donald Trump's administration was pushing for Britain's concessions in ‍areas of trade outside the tech partnership.

U.S. officials were becoming increasingly frustrated with Britain's lack of willingness to address so-called non-tariff barriers, including rules ‌and regulations governing food and industrial goods, the FT said.

Reuters could not immediately verify the report. The White House and British government did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.

In September, during Trump's visit to Britain, both countries agreed to a "Tech Prosperity Deal" to boost ties in artificial intelligence, quantum ‍computing and civil nuclear energy.

The U.S. is Britain's largest trading partner, and its big tech companies have already invested billions of dollars in their UK ‌operations.

The Brits tend to talk too much, and to questionable parties of interest. France, same thing. It’s nothing new.

The Brits sold the Soviets the engine for the MiG-15. They put spy Klaus Fuchs into the Manhattan Project. And good old Kim Philby, remember him.
But most of all, MI-5 and MI-6 were the creators and pushers of Russiagate.
The Brits push the war in Ukraine, and forbid free speech, ban guns and hate every aspect of US freedom.

It’s hard to imagine a partnership with them on something important.

I think Starmer is getting what he deserves. Macron, Merz and that Ursula Von der Leyen should all get the same. They all hate Trump, US citizens and are blocking peace deals.
Screw ‘em…..pompous idiots.

Thank goodness! UK is soon to be a panic nuclear power. We can’t be sharing any new tech with them period. And should be preparing plans to disable or remove their nuclear weapons when the time comes. Same for France.

The Brits in charge are not our friends. But I don’t blame them for a minute wanting to keep our poisonously industrial “food” out of their market.

They have their nukes mostly on their submarines. My guess is that they will fail to maintain their submarines so they will eventually lose the capability to have nuclear weapons.

“... and pushers of Russiagate.”

Of which the Steele dossier was made up. But no matter, the muzzie stampede will have taken over the Brits in a decade anyway. It would be smart to back away from that island - trust them at your own peril.

Britain is no longer British.

It’s quickly devolving into Britan-istan

and it seems native Brits cannot find enough sack to overthrow
the Muslim invaders and anti-white sympathizers.

“The United States has suspended a technology deal it struck with Britain earlier this year,”

.

As long as the muzz are calling the shots we should not send them so much as a glass of water.

Give them the Cold War Soviets’ treatment.

Let Britain starve down to the point that the muzz just plain do not want to be there.

When they haul azz for even more stupid prog’s countries, burn everything they left behind.

Houses, mosques, businesses, all of it, down to the last beat up pair of Nikes one of their humanoid cows forgot to pack.

Let no trace of their existence remain.

.

Give it to Britain and China will have it within hours. The same with France, Germany and Australia.

Britain was our enemy for our first 125 years. Then they became our “special relationship.” Now that they are joining the Islamic world, they’re back to being our enemy again. That might change, but it depends on the remaining Normans and Saxons.

They should be treated as a suspect nation and not as a friendly one. Same as Canada.

It takes a lot of time, money, and technology to maintain a nuclear weapon, and, with the current people running their show, I also do not think they will be able to maintain their nukes.

South Africa dismantled their nuclear weapons when they handed over their government to majority rule after Apartheid ended.

The Russian Navy did not survive the collapse of the Soviet Union, they have failed to operate freely in the Black Sea in the current war in Ukraine.

The Brits and the French should be able to maintain their nuclear weapons for the next 10 years but most likely by 2040, they will have a difficult time keeping up with their submarines and nuclear weapons.

By 2050, they will lose their nuclear deterrence.

The UK and France are both in a weird place right now, they are no longer truly Western nations. They are on their way to becoming a 3rd world nation although they are not quite there yet.
