Sir Keir Starmer has enlisted the help of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron in his battle against Nigel Farage's Reform UK.
The Prime Minister revealed the trio of 'centrist' politicians recently discussed how to take on 'populists' such as Mr Farage.
The leaders of the UK, Germany and France met for dinner in Berlin last month to discuss European security, Ukraine and the Middle East.
But Sir Keir has now said their talks also focused on their shared domestic challenges and battles with both far-Right parties and hard-Left parties.
Mr Merz is continuing to face a challenge from Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), while Mr Macron is fighting against National Rally and France Unbowed.
In an interview with The Economist, Sir Keir said there was 'a pattern emerging' across the Continent and 'we discuss this as European leaders'.
'If you look at the situation here in the UK, it is undoubtedly true that the next election is likely to be Labour versus Reform rather than Labour versus Conservatives,' the PM added.
'So that will be different to the elections we've had so far against a right-wing proposition. We've not had that in this country before. You can see that in France, in Germany, and in other countries.'
Sir Keir claimed the 'centre-Right has sort of fallen away' and said most people in Britain hadn't seen an improvement in their living standards since the 2008 financial crash.
'They've seen a deterioration in their public services, and they don't feel better off,' he added.
'And so what's being tested here in the UK and in France and in Germany is whether mainstream politics, centrist parties can deliver against the challenges of the moment.'

Beta beta beta!
In other words, he’s looking at criminal charges. I doubt they’ll find anything Starmer the ex-Crown Prosecutor missed.
Germany is trying to ban the AfD party.
France is trying to ban the National Rally party.
So I’m sure that’s the advice Starmer will get.
If you can’t beat ‘em, ban ‘em.
Banning parties, I did Nazi that coming.
Many of the opposition party in Germany have “died suddenly.” That has definitely stopped those who are deceased from running for office.
They keep trying to kill President Trump.
They will probably end up infiltrating Reform so they can ban the party.
Using that argument, I can see why Nigel Farage refuses to be associated with Tommy Robinson.
But it may not stop them from banning Reform anyway.
This guy is such a sniveling weasel he could be mistaken for a Canadian.
Easy...
1) Don't call an election until you are required (2029)
2) Continue to swamp the UK with immigrants
3) Continue to stifle free speech.
They can postpone it until 2030 if they want. Their excuse is that they'll have to roll out their Digital IDs.
The Parliament is the LAW in the UK. That's it.
They don't really have a piece of paper like we do here in good 'ole USA.
It’s called SUPPRESSION.
So the leader of England is looking to Hessians to protect his position? That doesn’t always work out so well.
Time for another Cromwell?
I am thinking more along the lines of Alfred the Great or Aethelstan.
Cromwell makes bad things worse.
U.K., France and Germany: The new Axis of Evil.
>>>The UK is doomed.
UK sun has already set!
“The Prime Minister revealed the trio of ‘centrist’ politicians”
Bwhahahaha
They probably believe in it that they’re “centrist” because they’re not acting like Stalin (yet).
I did Nazi this coming!
Actually it is treason. Getting foreign leaders to hep you defeat your countryman is the act of a traitor
