Well if it’s that bad, then quit. Save us taxpayers some money.

Sounds like a great opportunity for these federal employees/ticks on national body to explore the wonderful world of private sector employment.

I’m crying crocodile tears. Welcome to the real world of employment that most of us work in versus the government gravy train.

“As if morale wasn’t already non-existent, it sure is now. I expect a surge of people to (quiet) quit" If they quit, oh gee, darn it! If they quiet quit then probably nobody will notice the difference.

I know the shutdown must have been difficult for a lot of the federal workers; but other than hearing about it on the news every day, I didn’t notice it much at all. I know there are many important duties fulfilled by the federal workforce, but I wonder how many of them are really essential.

Feel-good story of the day!
Now complete the demoralization and kick off their exodus by stripping the grifters of their union protections.

I expect a surge of people to (quiet) quitQuiet quitting has been a way of life working in the Federal Government, especially since Trump has been President. This just means more are going to do it now so they need to be identified and culled. The gov't can only gain from getting rid of the deadwood.
To: cotton1706
All the govt worker-liberal deadbeats are so upset, sad. Not that all are liberal deadbeats, but plenty are.

All these workers make good money. The shutdown should hardly effect them...except they don't know what to do to carry out their charade.
Borrow from someone....you know absolutely that you will be paid when it's over.

When I worked in Japan, the national government would regularly pluck talent out of the private sector for specific work assignments, including the boss of my boss. After a year or two, they would come back bringing the experience with them.
Because of this cross-fertilization, the capabilities of the bureaucrats in Japan is well ahead of their American counterparts. In general, government workers in Japan (at all levels) are expected to work for lower salaries than their private sector equivalents in exchange for greater job security.
