Among all Americans, there are those who characterize the first Thanksgiving as a time when Europeans invaded the lands of indigenous peoples of what would become North America.

Farming, hunting, building, and self-defense were their essential preoccupations of the early ones.

Despite their simple intent to settle, their presence resulted in attacks, skirmishes, and wars that would eventually eliminate the Native Americans from their lands.

Unfortunately this murderous competition has probably been characteristic of every cultural contact since the beginning of Man. This was dramatically depicted in the beginning sequence of the Hollywood production “2001: A Space Odyssey”.

Without excuse, history reveals that European immigration was not attempted with genocide as a fundamental goal, but rather religious and social freedom being sought by common people. Genocide was never the central driving force.

This country is now facing a repeat of that massive immigration…with a significant exception: the new invaders have the stated goal of this country’s total compliance with their laws and religion or death. (Much like this quote from a famous TV series, “ You will be assimilated….Your culture will adapt to service us.”)

Originally the Europeans were celebrating their success at Thanksgiving, despite cultural conflict.

We should celebrate this holiday, keeping in mind that we may not have this time in two generations

We’ll be celebrating it every year no matter what the leftists say, do, or decree.

We’re having Thanksgiving today. Too many aren’t thankful for anything these days.

We had i here too. Had my sister and BIL over.

Kids were at their in-laws; we will have them here tomorrow.

Our traditions, our culture, our heritage, and our ways are under daily attack by the left and their non-American imports.

We need to stop tolerating their bullsh*t and show them the door.
