I suspect somebody in the commies circle saw DJTs interview with Brett Baier where Trump said NYCs success depends heavily on the White House and they convinced the commie that’s absolutely the case.

If Trump does talk to him, he should suggest that NYC solve its budget issues by working with ICE in deporting everyone who is not lawfully present. Should also support not granting citizenship to anchor babies. That would likely remove 10-15% of all students and most of them would be high need students .(English as a second language).
1.1 million students in NYC schools, they spend $42000 per student per year.
1,100,000 x .10 x $42,000 = $4.62 billion
1,100,000 x .15 x $42,000 = $6.93 billion
Maybe that 10-15 percentage is too high because the kids are now considered citizens but their parents are not. Deport the whole family and when the child is old enough to support themselves and if they are considered citizens they can come back.
