SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC/Gray News) - A man in Georgia has been charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old at Walmart because the victim kicked his shopping cart.
On October 23, police say around 5:50 p.m., they responded to the Walmart, where they found an 18-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds and lacerations.
The investigation revealed that 48-year-old Delano Middleton was leaving the Walmart with his shopping cart when J.T. Schroeder allegedly kicked the shopping cart as he passed by.
Authorities said this led to an altercation that left the 18-year-old severely injured with multiple stab wounds.
The 18-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Middleton was arrested and charged with murder.

That being said, I would add that a well-armed society is a polite society. Don’t be a jerk. Don’t kick the guy’s shopping cart. Stay safe.

What is it in the black culture that teaches that it’s okay to murder someone if they kick your shopping cart? That is not a racist question; it’s a question that tries to explain why 99% of news stories about senseless murders find blacks the perpetrators. Why?

Probably wasn’t the initial act - but the loud, escalating argument and conflict, ever-increasing energy and no ‘culturally-acceptable’ way to de-escalate that followed it.
