Is Mamdani not a product of America? Everything about him I recognize as part of our society. I don’t celebrate it, but I don’t deny it. He grew up and mastered a system created by our brahmin class.
He was nurtured in a family that was ensconced in the elite university system that holds sway in our country. He went to Bowdoin College, an exclusive, expensive retreat for the children of the well-off. He majored in African studies, as his father had, but he was not destined for the confines of a university library his whole life.
He knew that he had charisma and wanted to shape American culture and politics in some way. He looked back at the student radicals of the ‘60s and said, “I want to fashion myself as one of them.” He wanted to take radical chic to a new level. He updated the rhetoric of the same era to reflect the fashionable causes of his generation, a muddled mixture of socialism, jihadism, and gay rights. He is an echo of a radical American tradition focusing on oppression and victimhood of race, class, gender.
He is Angela Davis standing on the podium circa 1970 with her fist held high in the Black Power salute shouting “Power to the people!” Mandani is everything the ‘60s protest generation enshrined and everything the current generation of pampered narcissists crave.
We do not need to look outside of America for forces that want to dismantle the values which many of us still hold dear such as: free speech, private property, and personal liberty. A destructive strain is already deeply embedded in our culture just waiting to erupt and impact the political sphere. Mamdani is that manifestation.

Muddled is right. Most Islamist jihadis don't take too kindly to "gay rights" or to atheistic Marxism (infidels), but somehow all three manage to coexist happily in US and European leftist politics.
He represents the New American Dream - gimme gimme gimme and have “the rich” pay for it.

I laugh at the fact that that clown’s ‘eddikashun’ qualifies him to 1) Ask if you’d like to supersize that, 2) be a media news ‘talent’, 3) DemocRAT politician, or 4) Harvard Faculty.
I’m convinced Mamdani and his whole family are intel agents, for whom - that’s still up to debate.

Then these globalist America-haters suddenly land in America, at Columbia University and in Hollywood of all places, with grants from various NGOs and Qatar. Their son becomes a citizen, and mere 7 years later, he’s nearly Mayor of America’s largest city. Their family story is a patchwork of leftist narratives, full of holes.

I was always taught (and believe) you get rich or at least middle class by trading your time/labor/ideas for something that people want. in other words you supply something that people want to pay your for.
The new zeitgeist is yell, bray, scream, throw a tantrum, etc. to get the government to rob other people for you so you can enjoy the fruits of their labors without any productive effort on your part. I despise thieves and by extension socialists/communists/Democrats all whom want to take what I've labored all my life for and give it imported third world shithole scum (for some reason Somalia north in Minnesota comes to mind) so as to keep themselves in power to further rob the productive citizens.

So, you’re saying American colleges ( Which Mamdani and his ilk are a product of ) are not really American?
They are just hiding their time until they can defeat their common enemy, us. If they do defeat freedom they will immediately fall upon each other.
