Obama to campaign with Spanberger in Virginia (Dem PANIC Over Internal Polls?)

Former President Obama will campaign with Democratic Virginia gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger in Norfolk, Va., on Nov. 1, according to a Tuesday announcement from Spanberger’s campaign.

Obama last campaigned in Hampton Roads in 2012. His upcoming campaign stop with Spanberger will mark the first campaign visit of any Democratic president to the area in over 10 years.

The announcement comes less than a week after Obama cut two ads urging Virginia voters to back Spanberger in next month’s governor’s race.

Reading the tea leaves here and this can only mean that Spanberger's internal polls are causing panic. And I suspect that it is because of black women either declining to vote for Abigail Spanberger or voting for Winsome Sears. Why do I suspect this? Well, besides this panic move of gettng Obama to campaign for her (and cutting a commericial for her) live in Norfolk, I am noticing the Sears people showing ad after ad of Spanberger surrounded by black women.

Some of Spanberger’s ads are very disrespectful of her opponent. Also edited the heck out of context. I imagine some black women who usually vote Dem are unhappy with the ads.

It is worth remembering that Obama is about as black as Meghan Markle. When you look pretty white, speak white, were raised by whites and have a lot of $$$$, it MIGHT be hard for blacks to identify with you....

There isn't much of a draw with the AG candidate Jay Jones disaster to encourage a black turnout. The odds on Kalshi for Jones went from 87% on Oct. 1 to the current 33%. A steep plunge. And they expect a big black turnout for an AWFL woman, namely Spanberger?
